   We came here for my son’s birthday on a Sunday evening. I booked a table for 12 people. We were given a private room for the celebration. The staff were so attentive and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. Most of us had a Sunday roast! The beef was cooked to perfection with a gorgeous Yorkshire pudding on top! We didn’t bring our with but dogs are welcome. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

   What a disappointing evening at the Red Lion Restaurant. No wonder the PerTutti restaurant next door was fully booked and this place was empty. First of all, being shown into the restaurant was a member of staff sitting with a big messy box of takeaway pizza, I commented it wasnt a good advert to be told..oh its ok, they are a member of staff. NOT OK IN MY BOOK! a Steak served luke warm with luke warm mushrooms on a cold plate was not exactly what I had imagined. The chips were excellent and they were hot. Asked if I wanted something else I declined as I was hungry and there was nothing else on the menu I wanted. At 9.15pm we asked for coffee to be told, sorry the machine is full of chemical cleaning, you can have tea. Why do they clean it so early and without checking if you might want coffee before they do it?? Oh said the waitress, people don't normally have coffee after a meal but you can have tea....I DONT WANT TEA Thank you! The waitress was a very nice person, it wasn't her fault and she was full of apologies but that did not really help. Once again Youngs Brewery need to get their act together if they want customer support. I shall not be returning.

   We had Sunday lunch with two friends and our dogs. We were made to feel welcome and the choice of food and food quality was very good. The staff were attentive and allowed ample time between courses. I would definitely recommend the Red Lion, especially if you have a dog with you and you want a very decent lunch or evening meal. We will definitely be going back there.

   A wonderful small town pub and hotel, my local. The staff are lovely and very friendly, the ambience is always wonderful. Service is always on point and the food is consistenly cooked to a high standard. I highly recommend this for families, date nights and even just a place to pass the time. With a wide ranging bar and beer selection, bar snacks and an extensive menu. A highly recommended place for those in the area and beyond.

   I booked the Aldenham Room in the Red Lion pub in Radlett for my Birthday party recently. The room was perfect for my group of 30 guests and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Big shout out to Emma for looking after us so well - she couldn’t have been nicer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Red Lion. We were able to play our own music and the food was amazing. We had a great night and will definitely book again in the future

   Had a lovely breakfast, continental was laid out to help yourself, but we also ordered a cooked breakfast too. The waitress was extremely helpful and even went to the local store to see if they had any black pudding as the hotel had run out. Really great service and the food was really good too.

   Lovely welcome and efficient staff. The room was large with comfortable bed and good choice of room snacks etc. The only slight negative is that the room was very cold. I’m sure if we would have asked, they may have had a spare heater but we were only there one night so wasn’t worth making a thing about it. We had a lovely evening meal at the pub. Reasonably priced room and meal and would definitely recommend.

   Stopped in for Sunday lunch, really good menu. We opted for the Roast Beef and Yorkshire puds. Great portion size, lots of roast potatoes, several types of veg, several slices of beef and a large yorkshire pudding. The staff were attentive and welcoming and we were pleased to see that they were truly dog friendly (we saw a large boxer accompanying his humans in the bar area). Would definitely recommend.

   Friendly and helpful staff....even adapted the service for lime and lemonade when they didn't have cordial! (Hope his thumb is ok!) Lovely interior, sumptuous seating, decor very relaxing, we didn't try the food but it looked good. It's massive too....no idea why I'd never been before!
