   A stunning oldy worldly building with a beautiful interior. I was here being a stall holder for a Christmas Market held outside the pub underneath a very large gazebo. The staff of the pub supplied us with free tea & coffee which was great as it was a cold day. The food I saw looked delicious and good portion sizes. If I lived nearer I would definitely visit this place regularly.

   The Old Manor hosted our 60+ guests after our daughter’s baptism yesterday and we are extremely thrilled with how the event went. Richard and I have been in contact for a good few months now planning it and he listened to every single thing I said. Nothing was too much trouble. He had set the area up exactly how we wanted it and it looked beautiful. We got so many great comments about the food - ‘the best buffet I’ve ever had’ being one of them. Cristina was absolutely amazing - an asset to the team. She kept our guests relaxed with full glasses and gave exceptional service throughout. Huge thank you from us all for making our event run so smoothly from start to finish.

   We were looking for a place for lunch in Potters Bar and were intrigued by the reviews of The Old Manor and it definitely lived up to them. It’s a 5-star experience from me, especially thanks to our server, Christina. She provided some of the best service I’ve ever received, even compared to top 5-star hotels. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. The building itself is beautiful full of history, cosy, Christmassy, and complete with a fireplace. The menu even includes a little write-up about the manor’s past, which adds to the charm. The food was fantastic. I ordered the mushroom risotto and fancied a bit of meat, so I asked for pancetta. The chef added crispy bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. They also serve homemade mulled wine and traditional desserts with custard or ice cream. If you’re looking for great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Potters Bar, I’d highly recommend The Old Manor. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

   A Wonderful Return to The Old Manor I hadn’t been to The Old Manor in Potters Bar for quite some time, but my recent visit reminded me why it’s such a special place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Clare, whose warmth and friendliness set the tone for a truly lovely lunch time. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, and the new chef has brought a fresh twist to the menu that elevated the entire dining experience. Every dish was fantastic—full of flavor and beautifully presented. The hospitality throughout was exceptional, making it clear that the team takes real pride in what they do. A heartfelt thank you to Clare and everyone at The Old Manor for making my visit so memorable. I’ll definitely be back.

   We hosted my sister’s baby shower at The Old Manor and had such a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and handled our group of around 60 guests with ease, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. The space they provided was perfect - comfortable, well laid out and ideal for a relaxed celebration. They also set up a lovely prosecco and orange juice table that looked great and added a special touch to the day. My sister and brother-in-law had the best time and we made so many wonderful memories. Huge thanks to the whole team - we highly recommend The Old Manor for any special occasion!

   Lovely restaurant, friendly service. Pork belly was tasty besides the crackling not being crispy, burger good, fish lacked flavour. Toffee pudding lovely with brandy ice cream, panna cotta not the best. Overall down to earth food. Would go back to try something different.

   Invited for a birthday dinner. Reservations were done before hand and served accordingly. Filling complimentaries and great service. The food portions were good expecially the cod and fries as well as the steak.

   Classic English manor pub style and atmosphere but with a 21st century menu interpretation that definitely impressed. We visited to watch the 2021 Euro Final, and regardless of the result, the drinks and experience were very good. The ordering on your phone makes for seamless rounds of drinks and food, and the food and drinks themselves are exactly what you want. As a vegan, I was truly impressed by the Banana Blossom & Chips with HOW CLOSE it is to fried fish. The appetizer From The Allotment is a great vegan starter with amazing hummus, pea falafel and veg.

   This is a lovely place to dine! I went as part of a group for a family event and it was perfect. The food was great, the staff very friendly, and I have fallen in love with the period building itself. I am also amazed at the large and attractive outdoor seating area.
