   We meet at this pub for my friends celebration of life so didn't get any food from menu but we received lovely nibbles and great chips too. All very fresh nice and tasty. Good selection of drinks too.

   We recently held my 60th birthday party here and cannot fault it. Dale and Alison were great with helping planning everything, giving advice on how much food we would need and the best way to manage the bar tab. The room was the perfect size, plenty of seating ( we had around 100 people there) and still enough room to throw some shapes on the dance floor. The food Dale and his team provided was delicious and the bar staff were all first class. Thank you Dale, Alison and your brilliant team for making my 60th a night to remember!!!!

   I would like to thank Mathew, the manager on duty on Sunday 28th September. When we arrived, I realised I had made a mistake with the booking and we had no dining reservation. Despite it being a very busy day, Mathew’s customer service and service recovery skills were outstanding. He reassured us and quickly found us a table. The roast dinner was exceptional, and throughout our visit Mathew and his team were polite, kind, and thoroughly professional. We were so impressed and truly grateful for the effort they put in to make our experience enjoyable.

   This is my my local pubs and we tried it the other day for Sunday Roast. Pleasant staff nice food and there's another area when kids can hang about. I would recommend this Sunday Roast they seve pork, beef, chicken and I think I vegetarian option

   A big thank you to the team at The Woodman where we held a celebration of our Mum's life. You really helped to make the afternoon a wonderful occasion. Always attentive but never intrusive. Helpful at meetings prior to the event and happy to accommodate our wishes and preferences throughout. This type of event can be difficult for families to organise and we highly recommend your services to anyone thinking of holding something similar

   Went for a Christmas Lunch today. There was 19 of us, we had pre booked and everything from booking to food/drink/service today was 5 *. The staff were great and really adaptable to the needs of our group. Thank you so much for making our group Christmas lunch a success

   I used the Woodman Pinner for my late cousins wake in November. The food was really nice and a good price per head which included the room hire. Several people commented how nice the food was. The room was a good size and comfortable, including a small bar at one end and a screen at the other so that photos could be displayed via a usb stick. Dale, Perry and Julie were lovely to liaise with and very helpful. l felt as though the function was in safe hands. I would have no hesitation in using the place again.

   First visit to this lovely pub with friendly staff who were willing to accomodate special requests. Had Sunday lunch today, the roast beef and chicken were amazing, generous portions, great service and all beautifully cooked. The landlord was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, offering more gravy if we needed it! Dessert was just as good. Highly recommend and we will be back again!
