Latest: Took the dog here, they really are dog friendly! It is a shame the bar lady lacked manners and the ability to treat people like customers, she really let the place down. There was no fight or argument, this must be her normal demeanour. It puts me off going again. Original: Friendly, old fashioned pub. Bar staff are very good

Bliss and the team are absolutely wonderful, very friendly staff, chef Taylor cooks excellent food and the meals are always perfect! Food is served in good time. Good choice of beers and other drinks as well. Would highly recommend the Sunday roasts! Always a pleasure to visit.

Fantastic Experience at The Queen’s Head, Uxbridge After a busy shopping trip, we stumbled upon The Queen’s Head in Uxbridge β€” and what a brilliant find it was! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Mani, who was exceptionally hospitable, friendly, and helpful, instantly making us feel at home. We ordered the roast chicken, and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. It arrived promptly, was freshly cooked, piping hot, and wonderfully juicy β€” not a hint of dryness. The portion size was just perfect, satisfying without being overwhelming. What stood out even more was the genuine care and attention from the staff. Not only did Mani check to make sure everything was to our liking, but the chef, Taylor, also came out personally to ask if we were happy with our meals β€” a lovely touch that you don’t often see. The pub itself is in a fantastic location, just a 30-second walk from the High Street, making it super convenient. With great food, wonderful service, and a warm atmosphere, we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

This is the best pub in Uxbridge as per our opinion. It has the quaint charm that can make one relax and enjoy a pint and a warm meal. As the name suggests, the pub is filled with images of Anne Boleyn’s head, a clear nod to the tragic fate of the queen, whose head was involuntarily separated from her body. Moving on to the foodβ€”while most of it was good, the bao was a bit disappointing. We were expecting the traditional steamed buns, but instead, we were served baked baos, which didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall we will come here again but won't order any food that is some kind of fusion food. This is a must visit.

Beautiful pub old pub, friendly staff who go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible or find a compromise that suits everybody. Charming chef. Beautiful rustic decor. Even a lovely crowd of regulars ready with a smile and a joke. Well worth a visit.

Green King pub. Nice pub very close to the town center and high Street. About 2 minutes walk from the station. Plenty of screens for TV viewing. Good service and decent food. Not too expensive either. It was very empty when we visited on Sunday evening.

Went in for a sandwich and drink whilst shopping on 27th August, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, I paid just over Β£30 for a bottle or prosecco, fish finger sandwich (which had 5 homemade strips of freshly battered fish) chicken and bacon sandwich (had a whole chicken breast on it!) and a bowl of chips which by today's standards is relatively cheap. Everything was delicious and bar lady was really lovely too. Will definitely go again when I'm next down those ways.
