The Three Wishes in Northwood is a fantastic pub with a real sense of community. The drinks menu is huge, offering something for every taste, and the live entertainment on Saturday nights always creates a great atmosphere. The team puts in exceptional effort during Halloween and Christmas, transforming the pub with brilliant themed decorations. I highly recommend a visit!

My friend and I occasionally meet here as it is convenient and usually good service. I do hear the Thai food is good although I have never tried it. We met again here last Saturday. There was only one real ale on hand pump (Timothy Taylor's Landlord), which I had a pint of, although it was fairly cloudy (it shouldn't be - I drink it regularly at other venues). It didn't taste too good either. I then swapped to a craft ale they had on which was fine. The next one was totally thick of sediment and undrinkable. Obviously the barrel had gone, but the barman didn't even notice. I had to point out to him it was gone. He insisted on having a taste (!), then agreed it was disgusting and announced it would take at least an hour for it to be changed (!). Faced with no other options of British beer, I asked for another Timothy Taylor's, which came up even more cloudy than the first one. I tried a taste and it was awful. I asked the barman if I could swap it for a Guinness, but he said he wasn't allowed, and I would have to speak to the manager (!). Off I went in search of the manager, and presented her with the beer and asked her opinion of it. She relied it was fine as she'd been serving it all night, and that it was a new barrel that had settled for 24 hours. I pointed out that it had obviously not settled enough as my glass was full of sediment, and she should not be be serving the product like this and expecting her clients to drink it. With that she gave me my money back, and I thanked her, to which she replied "You are not welcome" - Astoundingly rude and no manners. My 5 friends were also astonished she could have such bad manners. They finished their drinks and none of us will ever set foot in there again. The manager and staff obviously knows nothing about British beer and how it should be served, or about customer service.

Oct25- the bar staff was one woman on her own on a busy slammed Thursday! She did an amazing job all things considered. Decked out for Halloween. Great atmosphere. Good location

Lovely little pub, friendly staff. They do not serve food except for crisps, nuts, etc. But they do allow you to bring food in or use Uber eats or takeaway delivery service. They will even give you plates and their cutlery to use. The pub is nice inside lots of round tables and some long benches. Toilets are very clean and spacious. They play sports on big tv screens during the day and early evening. Usually football, rugby or cricket. They often have a band on a saturday evening which are usually very good. Last night when we went it was a 5 piece band and they played from 9pm till around 11pm. Lots of people, including us, got up to dance. It was a great night. I would recommend the pub and love the fact that they are happy for you to bring your own food in.

The owner of the pub was dreadfully rude, and who was a touch discriminatory to those that are ethnically diverse. It was very clear from the outset that she had no idea how to be hospitable, engaging nor wanted to welcome new customers. Other than the large array of different lighting features, blinding LED disco ball that was unnecessary for a 1 o’clock on a Sunday afternoon and overly loud tv that one needed to put earphones just to protect their ears, I do feel there are some positives to draw from the visit; one would have to say that the pint was perfectly chilled and the even though the pub was busy, it felt neat and tidy.

Bar staff are very friendly but the Owner of the pub is an awful woman. She’s racist and hostile towards people of darker skin colour. Was very rude to me and my friends. She has no decorum. She has no manners. Would strongly advise that nobody comes here.

What a horrible excuse of a woman that runs this pub… enjoy the load of money we spent in a short time, you really do have the grace and decorum of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on. For anyone that enters this establishment, please do not touch her festive display as she will scream and spit in your face. The pig like Peggy Mitchell figure has obviously been watching to much Eastenders. Happy Christmas!

Terrible place. They refuse to serve the basic necessity in this country - water! I went up to get mine and still got refused it because I didn't order a drink?? Excuse me ..I thought I asked for tap water. Yes all the reviews rave on about the food but really why would you enjoy the food if they can't serve you tap water....definitely better spots nearby to enjoy Thai food and get water served with your meal! Atrocious - this spot definitely needs a restructure!

It is a great pub which is traditional, but modern at the same time. It has a great bar. It has TV's in the correct places. It has good décor. The toilets are nice. It has a nice atmosphere. I would recommend anyone to go there. Hopefully they'll start doing food.
