Very homely pub by the river, beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our waiter Emma was incredible, very attentive, even remembering that she had served us the previous week and was glad we were back to eat again! Amazing food by a roaring fire, we couldn't have asked for better.

Had a lovely Sunday trio and chocolate brownie. The food came out quite quickly despite it being very busy. Great location by the river, free parking and dog friendly. Book in advance for a Sunday as it gets very busy here, it’s popular!

Five stars for the beautiful place it is. Absolutely gorgeous views of the Thames, plenty of outside seating and the pub itself is lovely. The only downside is that the guy who served me wasn't the friendliest... he was polite and all, but just not very bonhomie, good host type thing. May not have been a good day for him but not very welcoming.

Not sure what happened on Sunday but waiting 35 minutes for a pint to be brought to the table after ordering on the app is insane, especially when it was dead in there for a Sunday. The food was not great, wrong orders coming out and the service was non-existent. Nobody asked if we wanted sauces, no cutlery, didn’t ask if the food was okay. The coffee with the mini dessert arrived half on the saucer. No stuffing or crackling with the trio roast. Really poor

I went here with some family on Saturday 2nd July 4 adults and 2 children. We chose from the lunch menu. I had the pear and blue cheese pizza it was gorgeous. There was a lot of choice on the menu and the kids had pizza too which they love. I had the brownie for dessert. The waitress was very friendly and great with boys too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back

Lovely pub in a great location by the river.Lovely food here , I had the pear and blue cheese pizza. It was absolutely lovely. It’s a lovely spacious pub and seating indoor and outdoor. Beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere. There is loads of choice on the menu and when you are sitting outside you can order from your phone.

You’d be forgiven for thinking this place is some kind of posh, highly priced restaurant/bar on the waterfront. It’s actually just a nice pub that happens to be in a nice spot. Prices are perfectly reasonable and in-line with the food. I’ve been here a number of times over the last few years, the service has always been good, the manager is always whizzing around trying to please everyone. Only couple of negatives and one is on previous occasions I haven’t been able to order my first choice of dish from the menu, and one occasion had to go with my third choice! But I guess if they’re busy and run out then not much they can do. Also, when we were here recently I was stood at the end of the bar waiting to order when two waitresses were squabbling over taking food over to a customer, both refusing to do it…. Not ideal. Car park is ample. Great location, can get busy so pick your timing. We recently had burgers…. Very, very nice… come highly recommend.

Been to this pub before and absolutely stunning views/location right next to the river. Friendly staff, good selection of beers/drinks and the food, even though limited on veggie/vegan options, is really delicious. On this occasion, I tried the spicy pepperoni pizza & triple cooked chips and loved every bit of it. Highly recommended pub and will definitely visit again.

Location/view are superb. Our lunch sandwiches were very disappointing, as were the children's sausages. Beer (Session IPA) was very good and the kids ice cream and chocolate brownies were wolfed down. No salt and pepper on the tables (it was needed for the meal!); Vegetable sticks ordered for the child meal looked as if they had been plated up at least a day before, so too the mash potato for the other kids meal. The brisket sandwich was bland, dry and presented on over-toasted bread. Looking at other food on offer the next time I visit, if we do, I will try the pizza as those did look appetising.
