Deserves -5 stars in all honesty. This dentist left me in pain rather than extract a rear molar. I nearly committed suicide and was close to pulling it out myself. It was a rear molar the pain but due to it being next to a wisdom tooth the dentist left me to it and blamed the wisdom tooth. The problem he said was the wisdom tooth understandable that hes not a dental surgeon. But I used a private dentist they removed 1 molar pain wss gone instantly. They used a cold test which alerted me to the site of the pain and extracted same day. Basically a hygienist who cant be bothered I wasn't too keen to reattend after this incident

I was having trouble with a back upper molar and came to see John. He examined the tooth then he took X-rays and we discussed in depth, the options for treatment. I was given 3 options but I decided to have an extraction. I attended an appointment to have the extraction and everything was very quick and painless. Again, John explained everything he was going to do as he went along, then the aftercare when the procedure was complete. I cannot praise the way I was treated by John, enough. I would recommend this dental practice 100%.

Absolutely terrible! John completed a tooth removal and was purposely heavy handed, rough, unsympathetic, when numbing the area there was no gentle reminder a needle is going in- it felt like it was rammed into my mouth. When an xray took place he pulled it out of mouth and hit all of my other teeth with it. When he pulled my tooth out I felt my whole jaw being aggressively and excessively tugged at ( I have had teeth out before numerous times ) Iv never ever felt pain like this. Absolutely disgusting would never go again.

Came here for an emergency extraction, was seen to 30 minutes late and was only given antibiotics. My jaws swollen and I've had to book private elsewhere. He didn't show me the scan and said he could t determine which tooth it was so he couldn't extract it. I was doped up due to the pain and it was obvious he just couldn't be arsed as it's the NHS price. I told him prior that the day before I had a hygienist appointment ,the day before elsewhere, and they spotted an infection in the x-ray (this was physically obvious and the tooth was already falling apart). He wasn't really interested and wanted me out to clear his backlog of patients. Another dentist not interested in fulfilling their NHS care. If I had paid private, I guarantee he would have taken it out. EDIT: calling this "abuse" is hilarious. Dentists make far above the average salary. Going private is your choice, taking 3 NHS patients a day is shockingly low. Judging by the size of your reply, the truth hurts.

I became unwell at my last visit. It was nothing to do with any treatment I was receiving there but I Jenny and the team helped me so much. Kept an eye on me till I could go get checked at the walk in and then the hospital. The care I recieved has always been amazing and they take the time to get to know you as whole. They even rang a few times to check how I am in regards to this incident. Honestly I couldn't be more grateful to them. They provide a brilliant service and I don't think I could ever go anywhere else xxxx

The service provided by the whole team at Dental Elements has been exceptional. They are caring, considerate and incredibly professional. I've had to undertake some complex and prolonged dental treatment and I have felt supported and safe with at Dental Elements - in very capable hands. I'm not the best when it comes to the dentist - I was put at ease, and made to feel confident about my treatment. All stages were explained to me, so I felt informed about my decisions to have the treatment. Both John and Jenny where compassionate and professional during the treatment, checking I was ok throughout, giving me indications of how long left and generally making me feel at ease. The results are fabulous. Both my children are now registered here. My 6 year old son had to have a front baby- tooth removed - it was damaged when he was 2 after falling on it, the team at Dental Elements and their support enabled my son to keep his tooth for as long as possible. After an abcess when he was six, which the team successfully treated, we discussed best options to ensure my son wouldnt suffer further infections and pain and I decided to have it removed. I felt fully informed of all options and was confident in my decision. My son was put at ease as soon as he entered the building, the receptionists, the nurses are all fabulous, kind and welcoming. The treatment was brilliant, no pain, incredbily quick - so much so my son didnt even realise it had started. Both Jenny and John have an excellent way with children - Arthur left the surgery giggling and smiling and feeling like an absolute superstar. I dont normally write reviews - but have been so impressed I simply had to share.

Ugh! What an unhelpful unfriendly place! Someone I know and love has had a bad tooth for weeks and is in shocking pain only to be turned away because they hadn’t attended their appointments in a year basically they were struck off the list! Shocking. My close friend now has to use the NHS dental service which is terrible in a queue for hours on end only to be told no appointments left this country is getting worse.

I have recently joined this practice which was highly recommended by my sister. I am a somewhat nervous patient but Jennifer made me feel very comfortable and reassured . She didn't try to get me to have unnecessary work done (this has happened to me in the past as I pay for my treatment). All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Overall the whole experience was very positive.
