“I attended the Widnes Drop in Centre today, 29 September 2025. I found the staff to be dedicated, helpful and friendly, they gave me good care, dressed my leg wound, issued me with penicillin, and other relevant meds and sign posted me to use Treatment Room Care for further fresh dressings. There was however a shortage in staffing levels so the staff on duty were obviously under pressure. I can confirm that if anybody has had bad experiences it is not because of the lack of dedication from the staff, they must be run off their feet because it was very busy and I did have approx’ a 2 hour wait to be seen.”

“I have read many poor reviews and I have friends who are also with this surgery and heard some poor experiences, but to be honest, they all seem to be over pretty minor points. I can only speak from my own experiences and, on balance, think it's a really good surgery. I had a fairly serious issue on Sunday, on Monday I completed the patches form at 08.00, by 8.30 Dr Sendegeya had phoned me and I had an appointment to see him at 10.30 that morning. By 16.00 I had a call to arrange an MRI for Wednesday, the same week. I couldn't of asked for better care. I think the triage system worked very well for me on this occasion. Long may it continue.
