My wife, my son and I visited The Wheatsheaf to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food and service were excellent. I had turkey and the amount of meat was a lot more than I expected. I would also recommend the Camembert sharing plate which we had as a starter. It was a little loud for my taste but it was pre-Christmas and there was a large group near us that were celebrating a little loudly. Amount spent below includes drinks and gratuity.

Excellent venue with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff who help make a stellar experience for the customer. Very good food service with a range of delicious options. I recently attended for a spectacular Christmas dinner as part of a large group. Hannah and the team were incredibly friendly and all the staff did well to accommodate us. would highly recommend for dinner/drinks for both larger and smaller groups!

Great pub, Youngs, food very good value as are the drinks. Car park, plenty of tables. Brunch menu until 12.00. Dog and children friendly

Outstanding Sunday lunch, friendly atmosphere and great staff. Want to give the chef maximum recognition. Great meat roast selection and my chestnut roast was so delicious. This was a last minute late Sunday lunch outing. We had seating out of the main restaurant in a cozy benched area behind the bar. It was busy so did have to wait a while for the food to come but it was worth the wait.

Had Sunday lunch for the first time here as a guest, and I was very disappointed with my roast beef. Very fatty. The rest was just OK. Was expecting a lot more for the prices. Other guests in the party also not very impressed. The children said the burgers were good though.

Went in the morning to miss some of the lunchtime rush. A very nice and quaint pub, a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee and read a book. The staff were very nice and the outside area is well maintained. Would be a good spot for sunnier days too

Incredible roast dinner if you're looking for a restaurant in Esher. It gets very busy so make sure you book to avoid disappointment. We had to sit outside and food service was slow because of this.

Had lunch with friends a couple days ago. Delicious freshly cooked food eaten in the garden area. The fish and chips was one of the best I've eaten. Great service and relaxed atmosphere. Compliments to the chef & all the staff. Recommended.

Venue: Offering a relaxed and welcoming pub setting with sofas and a fire place , adjoined by a stylish dedicated restaurant with tall ceilings. Good amount of parking , outdoor seating and nice toilets. Food: Classic gastro options ensuring there’s a dish for everyone without being overly ambitious or adventurous. Food is of a high standard that won’t disappoint , arguably a bit expensive but excellent cocktails that shouldn’t be overlooked.
