We were a group of 10 and the Foley looked after us wonderfully for our Xmas lunch. The table was laid with crackers and decorations and we preordered courses with the assistance of Savannah the Manager who was very helpful. There was a log fire to add a festive feel and each course arrived promptly and well presented. Recommended.
Recently refurbished village pub and hotel. Great new menu, friendly staff, brilliant playlist, surprisingly superb Amaretto Sours! And even a great spot for a morning coffee after your dog walk. The doggy delights station is a favourite for four legged friends.
We had a lovely meal. The atmosphere was busy and friendly. The food was delicious, the only negative we found was the Chicken Supreme was too small for an adult. We had to order extra chips as they were still hungry. The Beef pie, steak and burgers was plentiful and delicious. Had a very nice enjoyable evening and meal.
We enjoyed a long lunch as a group of four friends. The pub has a large indoor area that offers lots of seating choices. It also has a really comfortable outdoor area with heaters and warm blankets on offer. Food and service were excellent. The menu provides lots of options including the classics you’d expect to find on a pub menu. We all enjoyed the beef and mushroom pie which we agreed was delicious. The staff are attentive and super friendly. We definitely return again.
Sunday Roast Perfection at The Foley! Stopped by The Foley in Claygate for their Sunday beef roast, and it was absolutely spot on. The beef was tender and full of flavour, served with crispy roast potatoes, perfectly cooked seasonal veg, a giant Yorkshire pudding, and rich, delicious gravy. The pub itself is an absolute gem — warm, welcoming, and full of charm. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were friendly and attentive, and everything arrived promptly and piping hot. If you're after a proper, satisfying Sunday roast in a cosy setting, The Foley delivers. Already looking forward to the next visit!

Quiet on a Tuesday evening but has a good choice of draught ales. Unfortunately coffee machine was being cleaned (before closing time) so no coffee for driving friend but given pot of tea on the house - which was very nice apparently. Food at lunch on an earlier visit was good.
We want to say a special thank you to Vinnie and the team at The Foley! We had our wedding reception at The Foley back in September and it was a truly wonderful day! The food was delicious (everyone still talks about it and says its the best wedding food they have had!) Service was fantastic and done with a smile and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much for everything and for anyone considering a pub wedding or party, look no further, The Foley is perfect!
