   Went for food only at lunchtime - burger was dry, scampi was over cooked, and bread stale! Shame because last time the food was great - expensive for the portions too, definetely cut down on sizes. Service was good however.

   Lovely pub on a secluded part of the river. Very nice pint and friendly service. Haven't seen the rooms but it all looks lovely downstairs, see no reason why upstairs would be any different. Will definitely return.

   Rating on rooms is a general comment about the pub/Hotel as thete wasn'tanother option. While the location is very nice and people serving were polite and friendly, the pub itself is in dire need of a makeover. I'm not inclined to leave bad reviews but it really needs work. As for the food and drink, not bad but not good either. We had a burger, one pint of beer and a Guinness zero and it came to over £25...definitely not of a quality to command such prices.

   Had an exceptional experience staying at the Weir Hotel. It's a lovely quiet location not too far from the airport and a bike ride along the Thames into London. The room was modest but clean and the staff who greeted us in the evening were warm and friendly. The hospitality in the morning was similarly 10/10, we enjoyed a huge delicious breakfast which fully accommodated for us being vegan and had lots of great coffee. Would absolutely recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in London!

   We stopped for a snack and drinks. We had duck spring rolls which were served beautifully with sweet chilli sauce and salad with a mustard dressing. Probably the best spring rolls I’ve had – thin crispy pastry with a delicious duck filling The drinks were nice. I asked for lime and soda with bitters (where I am used to lemon lime and bitters in Australia) which they accommodated and it was quite delicious. A nice setting good service and a helpful, friendly girl behind the bar. Recommended highly.

   Lovley pub tucked away in a nice peaceful location I can imagine it's very popular during the summer months. Staff were all friendly enough decent selection of lagers/ales and a nice open fire to keep you warm during the winter months. I can't comment on the rooms as we were just passing through but the pub is definitely worth a try.

   We had my mum's wake at the Weir. My mum had lived in Walton near the Thames for most of her life and it seemed appropriate. I am so pleased we chose the Weir, the staff were excellent, very organised and attentive. I was very impressed, buffet was excellent and it made a difficult occasion much easier.    Size of the room was good. There was a desk but no chairs at all in the room. I was on a business trip so I had to improvise in order to work on my laptop. Breakfast was amazing, freahly cooked and delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommondating.

   Only visited the bar downstairs. It was very well presented and had a great number of decorations on the outside. I felt calm and serene. It's location next to the canal is quite refreshing. The staff are polite and helpful. The seating area is good for all kinds of things that require seating. I even took some good photos there.
