Spontaneous date night. Couldn’t have worked out better. Food, ambience, drinks and service all impeccable. 5 stars across the board. Every dish was 10/10. We also had the ability to pair with wine, again 10/10 HIGHLY RATED. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant evening at the wonderful Elm. It was our first evening dining experience here and it was great! Food delicious, staff friendly and brilliant. We will certainly be returning. Thank you!

We came for dinner on our anniversary, and honestly it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We’re really into good food and travel a lot, so I don’t say that lightly! We had the seven course tasting menu and every single course was outstanding. The wine was great too - and extremely well priced for the quality! To top it off, we felt so welcomed and looked after by the owner, and the ambiance and music were impeccable. They thoroughly deserves to succeed!

Excellent dinner here, we opted for the four course tasting menu - the bread at the start was so lovely! Lovely organic wines on offer, try the foraged English wine, it’s different! I will definitely come back here - it is my second time here and it was just as good as the first… if not better!

Had a wonderful lunch here with my wife earlier today. I had the truffle mushroom on toast and it was delicious. Perfect poached egg too. The service is always really friendly, and the music is always great at Elm - not to mention the coffee! Would recommend this lovely cafe to anyone.

Bought an espresso to take away. Arrived mid morning on a Friday, quiet place. Friendly staff and very tasty coffee. However at £2.90 a double espresso, it's too expensive.

Very nice place for a relaxed night over wine and delicious food! We got the orange wine (recommend, full bodied white wine with essence of beer), 2 pizzas, celeriac fritters (recommend) and the 3 for £10 deal with cheese/antipasti. Value for money could be slightly improved, but overall really liked the atmosphere and waiter's knowledge and advice. Will be going back!

Excellent place for a late brunch or coffee in Sheffield. In the same way as her little sister in Glossop street, the Upshot in Gibraltar has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Good savory food but also sweets! Check the peanut butter brownie... is top!

Very recently opened, this new branch of Upshot Espresso seems a little unfinished. The space is informal and rustic with plenty of exposed brick and wooden floors. The staff are friendly and the food quality is excellent, but I will say it is not cheap. It will be interesting to see how the use of space develops as the cafe establishes itself.
