Sleeping on the street is better than this place. I booked through Booking.com, and they are fully aware of how terrible it is and how nothing matches the photos, yet it is still listed on their site. They will not provide any help, so do not even think about booking this place.
Stayed here was a pleasant experience, staff were very friendly & welcoming. Bar is open till late, drinks good offers, rooms are nice , but can be on the small side. Owner was very friendly, made the experience even more special.
We have a booking with this Hotel from 1st October- 16th October we arrive at the hotel around 9.30pm for check in the guy who work at the reception just give me the code to enter the room. When we saw our room we have a big SHOCKED!! We book a twin bedroom with private bathroom but we got a room with shared bathroom. Its not just only the wrong room type but the whole room are really bad, super dirty, smell horrible, exposed wire on the floor. What happened if we got an electric shot? So we decided to left the hotel straight away. I told the guy that's we booked for a private bathroom so this is not our room and he said we book for shared bathroom and they don't have room with a private bathroom in that hotel. We complains to them and ask for the refunded back the told us to go talk to the Agency that we made a booking from. Until now the hotel still never responded back. We are very upset we have book this hotel for 15th nights we not even stay there yet we saw the room 5mins then we complains and leave because it's so horribles for the whole property. We expect the full refunded back
Quaint old pub... ;-) But needs a lot of "deferred maintenance" ;-/ Rooms were a little sparce, TV was small, old and no remote. Friendly staff, close to Heathrow Airport, stayed overnight to catch a morning flight out.
Bed bugs. Drove in to a lot full of trash and feces (outdoor open air toilet) but was willing to give the place a chance but within 30 minutes I saw at least 8 bedbugs on the beds and walls. Decent service; but when we asked for a refund, the man said he needed confirmation from agent, who then told us he needed confirmation from the hotel. Parking lot full of trash, sticky floors and tables, horrible view. Scammed us out of 80 dollars. Seemed like decent blokes at first but they really need to clean up their act
Only 1 star due to wouldn't let me rate 0, I'm sorry to say I won't ever return or reccomend this establishment to anyone. The gentlemen behind the bar when I checked In took a copy of my passport and then procedded to leave the copy face up on the bar In plain sight of everyone to see, we then went to our twin room that had no bathroom but I may be partially to blame for this as can't remember If the listing stated shared bathroom. When entering the room the tv remote didn't work for me to turn the tv on so went to turn on manually and behind the tv was a bottle of beg bug killer spray which immediatly made me ich. I then went to find the shared bathroom and wow but not In a good way, there was empty pop bottles which I can only imagine that people had used them to urinate In within there rooms them emptying In the toilet. And I have also seen cleaner tips. We went to the bar to have a beer and whilst In the bar a car pulled on the PRIVATE car park and around 4/5 people was there for around 30/45 minutes Inhaling gas/heluim and left all the empty bottles around and under our car. We could not stay here and decided to pay for another hotel for the night and left. Major improvement required, I honestly don't know how they get custom.
Worst hotel I stayed in my whole life. Booked for two days. Stayed only few hours and vacated. Full of bed bugs, stinks, no WiFi for room no 13. There is no carpet. No linen, no tissue. Paint is peeling out walls. Please do not use this hotel. Better to take shelter in bus station.
For room was paid 54£ for 28th October 2022. its very not clean, A lot of Fleas, and is big one's, on mattress under pillows, under bed, on the walls, ceilings.. It's must do inspections all the room. and have to be banned until have to be cleaned and disinfected. Because fleas bite and can transmit infection. This how I lost 54£ and i was slept in car.. they must refund all price which was paid. I add few picture's.
Staff is well trained previously worked in hotel taj indian nice bar live sports pool table and a lot
Very authentic old English and cosy pub.. lovely regulars and a nice relaxing view of the canal not to forget decent pub food..!
