   Edit, update: went recently and what a change. More staff, who were all great even though rushed off their feet. It was lovely sitting outdoors in the sun and pizzas fresh out of the outdoor oven were done to perfection. We were offered new cocktails that the staff were trying out and the vibe was really good. Lovely pub with character and great staff who are so helpful despite shortages. Unfortunately food has gone downhill. Menu didn't reflect that online (being a vegetarian had I known the only options are a burger/risotto (winter dish on a hot day) I would've just gone for drinks. Good garden area with bar.

   Beautiful pub in historical Harold Hill. Has a lovely big garden which is worth the climb up the steps.. they have a little bar and a pizza oven from where they serve food. They also serve delicious food in the main restaurant.. lovely to sit out in the sunny weather. Henry and the bar was delightful.

   Came in a Sunday afternoon, glad we booked and it was bustling. The staff were really friendly and attentive, I had the roast beef which was lovely and pink. My partner had the pork roast and although the crackling was good the pork was quite dry. The roast vegetables were nice. Nice beer and ale selection, would recommend coming and booking. There's also a lovely outdoor seating upstairs with a view in the summer.

   Fantastic pub with hidden upstairs seating. Really kind and friendly staff. Drinks are good. I'm definitely going back for food. Great to go early in the week before it get packed. Good for friends and family to enjoy. Great ambience and decor.

   This is a lovely social place, keeping a traditional feel of an English pub and adding a modern Mediterranean style of an outdoor space. Their fish and chips came highly recommended, which was what I had and it deserves a thumbs up. Don't forget to order an apple crumble and coffee for desert!

   Lovely pub tucked away, nice and peaceful very nice outdoor/upstairs terrace with heated seating areas. Food was nice, potatoes not as advertised on the menu but still tasty. Prosecco arrived in a very small measure as seen in photo which was surprising. Staff were attentive most of the visit. Bruschetta had lovely fresh tomatoes but lacked olive oil. Overall a pleasant visit
