   First time coming here and we had an amazing time. Came to the lido with our two young kids, Michaela was super helpful telling us about the free car park system, then was very kind helping take our order and making sure we got the kids eat for £1 deal. The food was great. We had carvery and the roasties in particular were delicious, and the veg was colourful and well done. The kids portions were good and everyone was happy. We thought the service from Michaela was brilliant. And the whole meal was excellent value! Will definitely come again.

   The carvery meat was soft and perfectly cooked they really enjoyed it! I ordered vegan burger for myself, but sadly it tasted off, almost like moldy food, so that was a big letdown. The chips were good though, and the service was friendly and quick. Just wish the burger had been better.

   Had a wonderful visit with my aunt and dad. We enjoyed the carvery and BBQ chicken burger—both were excellent, with fresh, hot food regularly replenished. The service was fast, professional, and welcoming. The only slight disappointment was not being seated by the window, despite it being a special occasion and a table being available. However, the overall experience was fantastic. Great food at a good price—highly recommend!

   Superb picnic place... Perfect lakeside dining, a small sand beach, mini train for an adventure, nice and well maintained park, a lot of food options. Easily reachable by car or bus. Huge parking area. Awesome experience.

   The staff were really good and the food that was available was good value for money. But half the menu was unavailable; pizzas, burgers and wraps. The pub itself is falling apart with the floor coming up, toilets from the 90s, ceiling leaking and light fittings taped on! The whole place needs refurbishing urgently.

   Good quality carved meats. Roast turkey as soft and juicy, the beef was even more tender. The gammon was salted nicely and was the best meat. Great variety of vegetables and gravy as well. Good value for money.

   The food is good for the price but we struggled to find a table free from dirty plates. We stayed for an hour once we got our food, however the tables surrounding us were still not cleared. This made the environment feel dirty and unpleasant. We asked if any staff were free to attend to this - as with the weather being warm, there were flies crawling on the food. They seemed quite apathetic and said they were all on a break. I can’t recommend this place
