“Genuinely a really lovely experience at Reis Grill & Bar. Music not too loud, very nicely decorated, very lovely and attentive staff, and the food is to die for! The service was also very quick, but it wasn’t so quick that we felt rushed. I can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The only downside was that the food was so good I didn’t have any room for dessert! Thank you very much for a lovely evening.”
“Saw Hats off to Led Zeppelin here. They were brilliant. Ticketing system was very well organized. Decent bar and not too expensive. Friendly crowd. The social club is known as the Tropic at Ruislip on band nights.”
“Updated: 23/10/2025 Thank you again to all the lovely staff. My friend came to celebrate her birthday and we had 2 Everleaf mocktails each. Thank you Gail for giving my friend a little birthday dessert treat. Simply lovely. My old review still stands. (03/10/2025). See below⬇️ Steaks were cooked to perfection. (Fillet) Waitress Gail was very attentive and very polite. Thank you so very much. The everleaf passionfuit mocktail was excellent. Wish I could buy it to take home! My friend and I definitely be returning.”
“I really enjoyed my visit to Kho Kho! The aesthetic vibes of the place are beautiful from the decor to the lighting, everything felt thoughtfully designed. The detailing in every corner shows how much care has gone into creating the right atmosphere.”
“The food and atmosphere was great. They even took the poo out the shrimp which is a win for me. The decor was pretty and aesthetic. We were served by victor he was lovely and very vibrant. The ‘pink fluffy drink’ was cute and packed a punch. The nachos share platter was very nice. The ‘mac melt’ is a delightful. The only bad thing i would say is the coleslaw was room temperature and tasted a bit old but it didn’t really make a difference.”
“One of my favourite restaurants in London,”
“The atmosphere is amazing, everyone grooving! Enjoyed my night here more than any other place in the local area. The bar staff were really helpful with their cheap drinks. Get down to champers if you want cheap fun!”
“Food is delicious ! I’m a native chinese , I can tell the dishes made from a genuine chef ! Strongly recommend !”
“This has become one of my favourite neighbourhood spots. The atmosphere is warm and cosy- perfect for an evening catch-up or an easy mid-week dinner. The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”
“We were a group having lunch before a funeral at the crematorium. We were welcomed so genuinely by Lou who I assume runs the pub. Gorgeous outdoor seating area and the flowers are so well looked after. Lunch was simple but delicious which suited us perfectly. I’d highly recommend here and it’s a shame we don’t live close by.”
“Very tasty! Huge portions, great service, cozy atmosphere, nice music, reasonable prices. Not too crowded, even on a Sunday evening. I really liked this place! We will definitely come again!”
“Very nice traditional Turkish restaurant where you can take away or dine in to enjoy a nice dinner with a glass of rakı. Chef Evren is very capable and has very good taste, and he cares about customers with his warm welcome. Don’t forget to ask for a baklava with a glass of tea at the end.”
“Nice bright pub, very busy and quite loud at times but a great friendly atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced.”
“Great Little Irish Pub, best Gunniess in Greenford by far, great for the criac, live music on the weekend. Made to feel at home straight away. Trad session on Mondays, Karaoke on firdays, definitely worth a visit if your near the area.”
“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”
“The white bear is our most frequented local watering hole. Great range of seasonal dishes, fantastic Sunday lunches (with extra sides if needed!), great range of drinks. Service has always been outstanding. Warm atmosphere. Suitable for all.”
“Excellent local pub. Plenty of beers on offer. Multiple sports screens. Just a generally good pub.”
“We really like coming here. Friendly staff, clean and efficient, great coffee and choice of drinks. Love the quirky decor and tables. I had a fantastic full English today, the best I’ve had anywhere for a while. Well done team doing a great job.”
“Great food, great drinks and great staff. Lots of screens for sports and they show Formula 1 races even when the football is on at the same time! Bernice and Georgia recommended coming for a Sunday roast and it sounds delicious. Will definitely be back!”
“Simply rhe worlds greatest ever pub. Has never been empty since its opening in like 1997? Cheap beer. Great vibe.talk to people instead of screens.”
“The Black Bull, our cherished local Irish pub, is a true hidden treasure that consistently exceeds expectations. With an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of Ireland itself, it offers a genuine slice of Irish hospitality right in our neighborhood. What truly sets the Black Bull apart is its exceptional culinary offerings. The burgers are a revelation – bursting with flavor and succulence that leave you craving another bite. And then there are the nachos – a generous serving of pure delight with tantalizing toppings. Affordability is another feather in the Black Bull's cap. Its reasonable prices make it a go-to spot for both casual gatherings and special celebrations. The pub's expansive indoor and garden spaces ensure comfort even during peak hours. However, it's not only the delectable food and wallet-friendly prices that make the Black Bull a standout. The traditional Irish decor, warm seating, and welcoming staff create an ambiance that feels like a familiar embrace. Whether it's a casual meetup, family dinner, or winding down after a long day, the Black Bull offers an unforgettable atmosphere. Adding to the charm, the pub features captivating live music that elevates the experience to a whole new level. With foot-tapping tunes and soulful melodies, the Black Bull provides entertainment that resonates in your heart. Reflecting on my visits, one thing is clear – I'll undoubtedly be returning to the Black Bull. Its captivating atmosphere, lip-smacking burgers, heaping nachos, reasonable prices, ample space, and engaging live music make it an extraordinary establishment. The Black Bull isn't just a pub; it's a cherished haven that continues to beckon with its authenticity and allure.”
“Great old school pub, pool table, darts, friendly bar staff and prices aren't over the top either.”
“Went for a pub quiz on a Wednesday night. Nice pub. Parking. Friendly barstaff. Clean toilets. It was quiet midweek with just quiz people and others out for a meal, but much busier at weekends I think from when I've driven past before.”
“Lovely chops... nice portion size. The staff was polite and always smiling. Nice clean small place but reasonably priced. Will go again.”
“We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The Indian food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The ambiance was warm and inviting, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our waiter, Allen Rodriguez, was outstanding; very engaging, attentive, and knowledgeable. He helped us find great alternate choices and recommended dishes that turned out to be excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I purticularly reccomond lemon-salt soda for teetotallers.”
“Paula and Sarah were amazing, we come every Sunday, sometimes even mid week. Always so friendly and helpful … and best potatoes :-) would high recommend”
“I used to visit this place in the 90's with my two sons, for a game of pool, a drink & a pub meal when I used to live in Harefield. Now back after nearly 30 years following too many recommendations. A very impressive Indian Food restaurant, elegant layout, excellent food from a varied menu. Service is top, staff are courteous & well trained. We will definitely be returning soon with some of our overseas visiting friends..”
“My first meal in this Indian restaurant, which is in what was The Bell Inn pub hotel situated on the main road in Ruislip Gardens. The food was full of wonderful flavours, I really enjoyed it. A real delight to now have as a local restaurant.”
“Food & Ambiance is really good obviously it’s been converted from Irish pub to modern fusion with good hype above food and server “Sachin” on his toes to serve us as our taste buds. Highly Recommended!!”
“The safety measures imposed to implement social distancing is strict and very good. The food does taste lovely--especially their Sunday Roast. Last time I went there with my family, we also tried their desserts too (not all, just some ;) ) Below are some of the photos from my visit (it includes the desserts we ordered at the end!”
