   My girlfriends and I can to the George this evening, what a pleasant suprise when I walked in to see it had been freshly renovated. Ottis was attentive and a very helpful. He was great! Such a lovely evening! The rotisserie chicken was perfect, we shared a whole roast with extra sides between us.

   I came here while on vacation and decided to try the rotisserie chicken it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was great and the service made the experience even better. A special shout-out to Talia, who was the most lovely and helpful person. She took such good care of us and made us feel really welcome.

   The venue is really great. Lovely setting and outdoor garden. Staff is very friendly and efficient… except for the chef. I was served a caprese salad with parsley instead of basil, the mozzarella was off and the tomatoes tasteless. No salt, no pepper and the olive oil was cheap as cheap and had no taste either. The 1/4 chicken was very dry, the Caesar salad was lettuce, croutons and Parmesan.And the gravy was a poor bisto version. Roast potatoes were really good though. I was watching the rotisserie and I could tell the chickens were well over cooked. Such a shame! It is such a great venue otherwise. Really worth going for a drink, just do not eat. Sorry! Manager was brilliant and refunded my salad straight away. No arguments. So customer service is great. The chef just needs to get to grips with the rotisserie and not serve food that is off. Am sorry.

   I recently moved to Twickenham and was looking for a nice spot to grab some food and a cheeky pint. I popped into The George and was really impressed! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had the half rotisserie chicken — it was amazing! Great taste and great value for money. Definitely found my new local!

   not a good place to watch the rugby. went in after watching a game at Twickenham, hoping to catch a later international. We asked the staff and they said as football was on the board then they wouldn't change one of the tvs. They then turned the volume up. The staff also gave the wife the wrong drink. also not impressed with the door staff who said it was full, and after we got in let in at least 30 more people.

   Good town centre pub, not too busy when I visited. Prices in-line with other pubs in the town. Good selection of drinks. Does food although I did not eat on this visit, I have eaten here before and usually good and well priced. Goid service from staff.

   It was my first time at the George which is ridiculous considering I've lived here for years. It was a Sunday Jam night and i was treated to superb blues playing. The food was amazing and even more so considering it was a Sunday, when most pubs would not even consider opening the kitchen. The beer was excellent too. I will become a regular Sunday goer. One of the best pubs in the area and I know as I've tried them all. Friendly and cosy with lovely people in front of and behind the bar.
