I visited the St Margarets Tavern today and it was pretty great. My friends and I tried to watch Formula1 today and it was very nice however, it was turned off for football which we found quiet annoying. But then a young guy in the blue shirt changed it back a few minutes after, so we still managed to watch and have a great time. Shoutout to chef as well, as food was DELICIOUS!! Really enjoyed the experience and atmosphere there, so me and my friends will definitely be back!

This is a lovely pub, good for watching sports and a nice meal with friends and family. It’s also good value for money, especially in this area. The staff are always very nice and accommodating. Igor the barman is very friendly and helpful.

I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.

What a pleasant surprise to discover this gem. Inviting deco, charming garden on a sunny day and the steak and ale pie was well made even though the cabbage was blanched but not char-grilled as written on the menu. Prices are reasonable compared to Richmond.

This popular pub in the area is a great place to go. The food was okay, but the Sunday roast was really good. The service was excellent and attentive.

Great staff, very reasonably and serve good beer. No issues if you ask for a top up etc. I usually find that an issue in pubs. Anyway this pub should be proud of its etiquette, really excellent. My dad played for the football team in 1974 and still drinks in here. One of the few fullers pubs they haven't ruined - good work team who work there.

A great pub. Big, comfortable, and friendly. It is well known as a before and after pub for Twickenham Rugby but also as a pub with a strong commitment to sport. Big TVs, sound on in a family - and dog friendly atmosphere; what's not to like. The beer selection is wide, and the food for both the bar and resteraunt menus is excellent.

Friendly staff. Spacious seating environment gives a truly relaxing feel. Not overly impressed with the food however.

Disappointed. Pretty mundane food, over-priced and unclear menu and charges. I thought I was ordering short ribs and turned out to be a burger. We had unexpected extras charged on our bill which wasn’t made clear. Not a great feeling. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad with asparagus and it came without asparagus and we were charged £4 extra for the chicken! ‘ - can you see any asparagus in the photo? ‘Do you want your burger with or without bacon?’ - This presumably means ‘would you like to order bacon as a extra?’ - as we found out when we got the bill with a bacon charge added. When I queried with Katarzyna she said she had asked if we would like extra bacon -this was not true! You must sell clearly and make it known what will be charged. A simple pub lunch with 2 drinks for 3 adults and 2 children without starter or sweets came to £80. I will skip lunch here next time and do my weeks grocery shopping instead! I paid a cash tip, but, as I had my focus on the extras charged on the bill), didn’t see the 12.5 % service charge addition as it’s easily missed as the total is in much larger print. So I paid a double tip by accident. I am happy to tip but it should be my decision and not forced upon me.

Had Xmas lunch here -impressed with the staff -Kat and Mark were very accommodating and the service was very good . Not overly impressed with the food unfortunately. Soup was tasteless and the Xmas lunch was not very warm and the sprouts were rock hard . We asked for softer ones but got another round of hard ones …cheese board was good , Xmas pud not so much . Quite dear at £70 a head but to be expected for Xmas lunch I suppose . Service charge at £18 was a bit shocking but easily rectified . Lovely pub though and couldn’t fault the lovely staff just a shame about the food which could have been better.
