Received very cold, unpleasant service from the manager today. We love going to the Rising Sun and have always had a positive experience until now. Booked this Sunday lunch as a celebration for moving into our first home, and instead was told that my reservation hadn’t been properly confirmed as I’d thought. I had a laptop shoved my way, showing that I hadn’t read the automated email about a time change. I appreciate that I hadn’t seen this mentioned and took it as a confirmation, but it was her lack of empathy or kindness around the situation that really left a sour note. Such a shame as we’ve had such special memories here.

Just returned from an evening out at this pub and felt compelled to review it. We visited this pub as a group, and while one member of our party did become argumentative and needed to leave, the way the situation was handled by staff was extremely disappointing. Rather than address the individual involved, a member of staff became hostile towards the rest of our group and even told us to “f*** off,” which was completely unnecessary and unprofessional — especially considering we had spent a significant amount of money there. When we raised our concerns about their approach, that staff member — as well as other members of staff responded in an immature way that only highlighted a lack of intelligence, maturity and professionalism in how the situation was being handled. We did speak with an older gentleman on staff who was polite and assured us he would be having a word, and we appreciated his attitude. Unfortunately, the initial behaviour overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable visit.

Great spot for food, live sports and lively buzz. Burger and chips were excellent.

We visited The Turks Head and were impressed by the warm and friendly service. The pub has a cozy atmosphere and charming character. The outdoor garden area was particularly enjoyable, providing a perfect spot to relax with a drink. The live music was an added bonus, enhancing the overall experience.

Lovely people, lovely pub! Nuff said!!! The Turk's Head, at the north end of Twickenham is a lovely place to visit. A Fuller's pub of large dimensions. A great bar and superb, covered outdoor area. The staff are most welcoming and great at their job. Also, even the PDQ machine worked without a hitch (cradled). Fine beer and everything you would hope for from the Chiswick based Brewery (and estate guardians).

A really lovely pub. However the security guard wasn’t as lovely. Kicking friends out for no reason and telling others they will be kicked out for speaking too loudly. Just to clarify the pub is great but I hope the security guard isn’t there again.

Went in for a quick bite to eat this lunch time and, as ever, was impressed by the delicious food and price of the weekday lunch menu (club sandwich = large and tasty). Was also nice to see staff who are friendly, attentive and looking after the pub instead of playing on their phones during any downtime. Much better than other local pubs and eateries.

Friendly pub with lots of space and a big function room at the back they use for events. The beer is Fullers and we'll kept and the atmosphere is good.
