Great practice. Reception are kind, considerate and empathetic. The Dentist and his assistant understand special needs and are willing to accommodate. The Dentist is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in a helpful way; we are very privileged to have such a Dentist in Wrexham.

All clinical dental care excellent. Reception area has been re designed and pictures removed from walls. All surfaces inc floor are hard and this makes it a very poor acoustic area for anyone with hearing problems. I work professionally with hearing loss patients and I can see that the re designed has taken NO ACCOUNT of any auditory or hearing difficulty. It is also taxing for reception staff working in that area all day when the majority of their work is speaking to patients. The area needs some soft sound absorbent walls, floors or furniture to improve this.

Had an emergency appointment on Sunday. I’ve been in a lot of pain and Dr. Bennett and Manon were incredibly kind and reduced my pain significantly. They were empathetic and professional. Thank you so very much!

One star too many . Appalling practice whose standards have dropped so low. They cancel appointments, and I'm a private patient, then fail to contact you to rebook this because despite the dentist being off sick and one is not to know when he will return, the ones is upon the customer to chase up this not the practice. Of course we,as customers, are not busy ,dont have anything better to do and have plenty of time to do the job this lazy practice fails to do. Why,because appointments are not important, they are only a courtesy?,So why make appointments then? Why offer them if it appears to be a free for all? Why should I ,as a courtesy, rebook an appointment when clearly I ,and everyone else, can.simply turn up without one and be seen . This is what this practice ,backed up by Bupa are saying . So not having a problem with one's teeth, one doesn't think about ones dentist everyday. Indeed one doesn't think about the dentist until one needs them,or indeed attending the courtesy appointment they insist on making with a clear time and date to attend for treatment. An appointment that clearly is not needed or necessary for the smooth running and efficiency of the practice. As a very busy person, thankfully with no immediate problems, my dental care was put to the back of my mind, forgotten about because I put my trust in this inefficient and dysfunctional practice, which clearly has no structure in place, to rebook cancelled appointments when the dentist returned. This never happened yet they happily continued to take my payments for absolutely no service whatsoever. One reminder ,I received, as confirmed by the practice manager, which was several years after the cancelled appointment and which I acted upon immediately. However when a complaint raised to the practice for a refund of premiums paid was made and then referred to Bupa dental care, surprise, surprise details of two other reminders ,not recieves by myself, miraculously appeared??? So the result looks like taking my claim via the small claims court. So please be warned. When things go wrong it's always the customers fault. Cancelled appointments by the practice are the customers responsibility to rebook even though these are only given as a courtesy and therefore not necessary. Appointments are ,with this practice and Bupa Dental care not necessary or needed and one can simply turn up,unannounced, without one and simply wait to be seen. So I strongly advise patients of this practice to do this because I have ,in writing , clear statements of fact that appointments are only given out of courtesy. As such appointments are given out of courtesy then they can not ne deemed to be necessary and essential because one contradicts the other.. So just turn up and when told to make an appointment challenge this with a formal complaint and let me know how you get on. I am deadly serious when I say and recommend this action, and feel free to quote my case as reference, and see how they explain this away. Having received conformation of this stance today ,from Bupa Dental care, I duly phoned the practice to test this out. The receptionist clealry stated an appointment was necessary. When I challenged this with the information held, silence then an attempt to explain this which once again contradicted the practice managers and Bupa Dental care own clear stance. Laughable if not serious. Private patients as well. God help NHS patients. But then with a shortage of dentists they can do as they please. Well I intend challenging this in the small claims court.

I am always greeted in a friendly manner. Covid measures are taken very seriously with all staff wearing masks, hand sanitizer available and everywhere is clearly spotless. They also carry out a pre appointment survey to ensure that I do not arrive there unwell. James my Dentist is always friendly, helpful and ensures my teeth are well taken care of with good advice and thorough check ups.

Everyone is so helpful and understanding. In particular the practice manager. Was very kind and understanding and helped me a great deal with some appointment rescheduling. I found the dentist Dr Maughan to be professional and kind as well. As someone with a phobia of dentist ot has to be said that this is the first practice to ever put me at ease. All thanks to lovely staff. Thank you Reply

Awful. Knowing I was extremely phobic, the dentist terrified me and was more concerned in his lunch to the point I was sobbing and he asked me to leave. I was in such a state I ended up seeing the emergency Dr where I was sedated as the dentist had triggered a ptsd attack. Absolutely appauly dentist that I saw. If you are going to work in health with public that are terrified you need to have a degree of compassion and bedside manner
