   Myself and my grandparents are frequent visitors of the Whittington and are always served quite well. However, our visit on this occasion was a large let down as the staff took over 40 minutes to deliver us our food when we ordered, the branch was not particularly busy when we had our meal, so we were particularly concerned with how long it took. Our food was as expected apart from a burnt bun, a member of staff offered to correct this but I was not particularly bothered by it. All in all, the meal and service was OK, just the fact the food took so long generated a large amount of concern with such a quiet branch.

   Food and service here very good. Drinks too, mostly. Disappointed that my Guinness at £5.70 a pint, is always a bad pour in a glass not suitably washed. Grubby head lacking a white colour and any creaminess.

   Food was good, standard pub grub can’t really go wrong. Good deals on specific days, quite a wait at the bar the couple of times we’ve been. Friday evenings you need more staff on as the wait can be a bit silly, it’s a busy pub for food especially but never seems to be that many staff on duty, could be a bit more organised. Beer pricing is on the higher end but the atmosphere and the food is worth it.

   We’ve just left from what was a lunch that blew us away. The food was delicious, and the manager Rob behind the bar made us feel right at home. Friendly, fast, multitasking and full of great recommendations. A real asset to the team and company.

   Lovely pub around the block. We visited on a weekday with relatives and so had the entire place almost to ourselves! There's good music, great food, and an excellent atmosphere. There's ample space and it's suitable for large group hangouts too. The servers here have a great attitude and we loved our food and drinks. I had the Korean barbeque ribs and I absolutely loved it! Would definitely recommend.

   Great pub, really friendly staff, always packed since the well overdue refurb. I would recommend going in on Monday night for the free pool and can’t beat the new steaks on the menu. The manageress Holly was really helpful with the meal questions we had. Can’t wait to go back again.

   Staff absolutely lovely and very helpful. It’s a shame about the meal. Overcooked quoin sausages and the mash gloppy and not nice at all. It’s a shame because otherwise a nice experience.

   We live about 100 yards from this place so this is a regular for a drink . However it’s been a breath of fresh air food wise recently ! The menu has changed and it’s all good ! The Jamaican chicken special definitely is one of my favourites . We were 2 families of 7 in all . Stacey was very helpful in setting us and got a nice corner table for us . Service was quick and top class ! If this wasn’t a regular for us food wise before that will definitely change in the future ! ❤️

   Service was excellent- efficient and the servers were always on hand if we needed anything. The food was also very good value for money. The redecoration is also great and creates a real atmosphere. I would highly recommend.
