   We had our work Christmas party at the Adelaide the hospitality was great! Tony and team were very accommodating as we had a change of numbers The food was good - wish I had the fish instead as the people who had it finished them super quick! The trillionaire tart was fantastic! I wish I had my own portion but the main plate was so big I didn't have room!

   Popped in and had a pretty uncomfortable experience. Someone who seemed to be the manager/owner was sitting at the end of the bar eating from a takeaway tray, blowing his nose loudly, and popping behind the bar to grab things for himself. He was chatting loudly with a lone customer, which dominated the room and made it feel like being in someone’s living room (not in a good way). The barman appeared to be putting bits of cardboard on the stove because they had no wood — which didn’t feel safe and I’m not sure is even allowed. My pint was £7.75; he admitted it was the first out of the tap and it tasted like it. Overall it was a bit depressing, and I felt uncomfortable. Not worth coming again.

   Probably won’t go there again. We had five roast dinners and one fish and chips. The chips were hot, but the rest of the meals were cold. Couldn’t tell the difference between the beef and lamb roast dinners. Tasted ok but cold. The pasta dish from the children’s menu was dried up, possibly microwaved. Staff very nice. Crammed seven persons into a booth. We were really squashed and hot. Shame as a pretty pub in a nice location. However, there are so many other places to eat in Teddington, why would we go back for a cold meal that is supposed to be hot.

   Great pub, by far the best option in Teddington for outdoor seating with a heated beer garden to the rear and street tables at the front where you can watch the world go by. The staff are super friendly and prices very reasonable. My favourite local :)

   If I could give 0 stars I would have! Booked a table last night for my birthday day, turned up to the pub and wase told we did not have a table despite the fact that they confirmed the booking. My husband showed the lady behind the bar that we did have a confirmed booking for the evening but, instead of rectifying the situation she just dismissed us with an oh your name is not on the board so no you dont have a table. She kept giving us the look of contempt. I think her name was Amy as it was written on her work shirt. Disgusting behaviour! Please do not confirm bookings if you do not intend to assign a table for your guest, you are just wasting their time and giving your pub a bad reputation! Train your staff on customer service as they don't appear to have any!
