I’m not really into Sunday roasts but I really liked the chicken one! Sides were very good too. The staff was super friendly and we had a very good time

I made a reservation and was seated upstairs in a room with nobody in it. (Downstairs was where the atmosphere was, anyway I ordered a drink and then sat waiting, my drink arrived and was told β€œI will give you a couple of mins to decide. While waiting to have my order taken, numerous staff poked their heads in and non asked about me or my potential order, I sat for 30mins, when some one did walk through- not coming to take my order I stopped them and asked for my drink bill and told them the reason I was leaving- not even bothered, no question- but I did tell them, β€œI have been waiting for 30 mins to have my order taken and not one of you have bothered” Never again - ps- went next door and it was like walking into another world- happy to see you and seat you and the order taken in good time - food great - β€œThe End Cottage” is the name - walk past the Anglers and be treated correctly.

We visited on a thursday when we was in the area, initially popping in for a quick drink... we stayed for lunch... then for a few more drinks! The outside area is massive for a pub, with seats under cover, in open, near the river, in booths - all sorts! There was also seating inside, and the pub decor was also quite nice. The kids managed to have a game of table tennis, as well as a kids meal from the menu. I think it would be fair to say that food and drinks were a little more on the expensive side than some of other places we had been to but we still had a great time / experience here at the Anglers. Worth saying that there is also a lot of film history here as Teddington studios was just round the corner and this pub was a favourite for some of the stars... a few bits round the pub remind you of this!

My second time at The Anglers I love the outdoor space by the river. The food it is soooo good! We had a trout croquet with induja and bisque, super delicious with a wonderful bisque! The fish and chips, very good portion; grest flakes of fish and very fresh. Top top top was the fish pie... what a super delicious dish! And the portion was really generous! As dessert we had the gelanska (i hope I remembered well the name) Nice surprise it was a strawberry coulis with cream icream and meringue on top... crazy good! Everything was extremely fresh and good... just to mention thought a little bit pricier than your regular pub. Just a note about the service... very polite indeed but a bit scattered and not extremely attentive... but polite. Overall I really recommend this pub!

A nice cool pint of London Pride (Fullers Pub). The food was good if a little expensive. Two rashers of streaky bacon (extras) cost Β£2.50. A coke was Β£4.05!! The food was okay, usual pub burger. There is a large outside garden with lots of tables. Staff are pleasant, but some could be a bit more efficient and attentive. I would suggest they check on the table a while after serving to make sure customers are okay and don't need anything else. I saw a couple of members of staff deliver some drinks and head straight back inside when they could have easily checked on customers or took back empty glasses. Would recommend for a cool pint in the garden. [Reviewed July 2025]

I have known The Anglers as a pub for many years. Since the last time I was there, they have had a refurb/extension. The atmosphere is contemporary but cosy. Today was the first time that I've had a family meal there. It was Mothers Day so very busy. The staff were run off their feet but did their very best to remain friendly and polite. I ordered the nut roast, which was delicious. I found the veg a bit cold and the gravy quite sparse ( despite requesting a second serving of gravy, which arrived quickly ) But maybe that's just my personal preference. I had the peanut butter, chocolate and hazelnut tart for pudding, which was also very good. Had it not been Mothers Day,I think we would have enjoyed the meal more. Will probably return for food on a weekday!

Cosy interior with fireplace ideal for an indulgent hot chocolate. Good choice of beers on tap. Unique large outdoor space right by the river Thames. Women's toilets are very glam! A quality venue.

What a big, open, scenic spot by the Thames. We had a nice selection of ales and a pleasant Pimms. Focaccia with olives and oil made for a tasty snack. Kids menu had many options, and adults savored the breaded haddock, blackened salmon, savory salad, and chicken schnitzel. Busy day with fine service, and a session of table tennis to boot.

Easy to get to from Kingston on the bus 285 and 281 Heathrow or Hounslow direction. Lots of walking and plenty to see a great pub with great choices of drinks and food and light snacks great place to spend time and people watch or sit by the river.

Really nice pub with a good location. The food was great and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The desert took longer than expected but they "compensated" us for the delay. I'll probably return with my family.
