Great food and drinks. Staff was super nice and accommodating despite the large gathering taking place. Enjoyed the Steak and Ale Pie.

We’ve been coming to this pub for about five years, almost every two to three months, and it used to be one of our favorite places. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming, and it was genuinely dog-friendly. We always came with our dog and could sit anywhere, including an indoor area. The staff were consistently kind and helpful. It was always a great experience. Unfortunately, in the past few months something has changed, and not for the better. We don’t know if there has been a change in management or ownership, but during a recent visit we were suddenly told that the indoor area where we had always sat with our dog was no longer allowed for dogs, without any clear explanation. Instead, dogs are now restricted only to the seating area in front of the bar’s counter, and not in any other parts of the pub. This came as a surprise, considering how flexible and welcoming the place had been for years. We decided to give it another chance today, but after just five minutes we had to leave without even being able to order. The music was extremely loud so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other speak despite the pub not being very busy. There was no real welcome or attention from the staff, and the overall experience was completely different from what we were used to. It’s genuinely disappointing to see how a place that gave us consistently great experiences for five years has changed so much. We used to recommend it to friends all the time, but sadly it’s no longer the pub we once loved.

15/11/25 - Google states midnight closing, ringing bell 11pm for last orders as soon as the boxing finishes. Have suggested an edit but sort your advertised opening/closing times

Great place to have a pint or 6 before an event at Wembley. Decent prices and plenty of space outside if the weather is decent.

The workers are really kind, helpful, funny, freely to talk. Me and my friend try coming here every week for an amazing food, dessert and drink. I’m not a steak person nor I don’t like steak but here this pub has the best steak I ever eaten. This pub is the only place I would come to eat steak. It’s not expensive and I really recommend coming here.

Could be better. We decided to order via the app which was simple enough but there appears to be an issue with where the drink orders go to. The food came out promptly and we asked the server about our drinks, he said he’d check but soon forgot as he became busy serving food. As there were quite a few people coming in for the football I assumed the bar staff were also too busy to deliver the drinks. I went to the bar to collect but they had no knowledge of any drinks ordered, allegedly the drinks order went to the kitchen. We then found out that some of the drinks we ordered were out of stock as the manager forgot to update the system. The food was ok but the chicken wings were disappointing as they were just quickly deep fried with some sauce drizzled over them rather than fully coated. The other frustrating thing, especially as it’s a sports pub, was that nobody seemed to know which screen was showing which match, Arsenal v Man City & Borussia Dortmund v Chelsea, as the screen we sat near was advertising Chelsea v AC Milan from 2022! People were unsure where to sit until after 19.30 when the Arsenal game started. Hopefully next time we’re in there will be better leadership from the management.

The flame grilled beef burgers were nice ... good thing there was table salt on the table ... if the chef forgets to put salt add on your own ... hehe ... The mix n match was really nice but the flame grilled chicken wasn't of our taste

we had a lovely dinner here, paid £2.20 parking using the PayByPhone app, show your receipt to staff and they will refund £2. the place is airy and clean, friendly and helpful staff, nice and modern feel, lots of outside seating, gammon skillet was nice. function room on site, you can play darts, 2 game machines, pool table. i won't hesitate bringing my guests here for a nice pub meal.
