Stopped here after a hospital appointment, had not been to Ealing for over 20 years. Saw a couple of reviews and thought let's give it a go , the best pint of Guinness ( ended up having four ) ! , The bar guy Max , what a guy , young guy, so friendly , great conversation , really nice atmosphere, seriously if you are in Ealing or passing by Ealing Broadway tube station, get off the train , walk across the road and have a pint of Guinness £4.90 ! You cannot go wrong , it's called Shanakee !

A lively and authentic Irish Pub. Staff are sound, the guinness is very very good and they also sell Meanies- a touch of class. Go

Been coming here since 2007. I write this review on the same date I came here the first time. I was on my way to play poker champions for west London. I must say, though it's a little tight, it's just right. Staff amazing. Quality of drinks is perfect. 5 stars everywhere.

The Shanakee offers a vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff and flavorful dishes. The menu has a great variety, but some meals felt a bit inconsistent in taste. Overall, a decent spot for casual dining with good service. Would visit again to try more.

These thieves charged me £50 extra for a pint 9 times when I tapped my card. I only discovered it when trawling through an old bank statement. I used to go in for a pint when I got off the train. Anyway, I chased them up but no response. The phone hung up on me the second time I called. Stay clear, it’s a rotten dirty dump anyway. You have been warned!

A lovely proper Irish local opposite Ealing Broadway Station, has a good choice of beers and drinks, all reasonably priced. The music played at times is questionable, but that aside it's a warm and friendly place to escape to when around the Broadway area.

Visited this place in late Jan 2020 and felt I ought to leave a review. Small local pub for those living in and around this part of Ealing I suppose. On the day I visited it was relatively quiet with just 3 or 4 punters. Given its small size I wonder what this place is like when its packed. Either way, interesting little pub.

What I liked about this place was when I'd ordered a Guiness , the guy behind the bar told me to grab a seat and he'd bring it to the table when when it's poured rather than me standing at the bar for 2 mins. Friendly staff. Lively atmosphere and plenty of characters inside. It won't be to everyone's liking but if you want somewhere unpretentious and want a well poured Guiness for under a fiver this is a great spot across the road from the station.
