   I visited The Preston yesterday and had an absolutely fantastic time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great mix of classic pub charm and modern comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The food was delicious — freshly prepared, well-presented, and full of flavour. The drinks selection was impressive too, with plenty of options to suit every taste. It’s clear that this place takes pride in offering quality service and a great experience. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink, a nice meal, or a relaxed evening with friends, The Preston is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

   Visited The Preston for our Work Christmas lunch. Very welcoming atmosphere upon arrival and staff were friendly. Varied menu for all tastes and I was especially chuffed when my colleagues who are NOT Local praised the food and the atmosphere. Great sized portions for the Christmas meal and presentation of the tables upon arrival Service was well paced allowing us time for our Secret Santa, quiz and drinks. Recent refurbishment makes the place warm and cozy with new seating and the toilets are all spruced up Lovely evening with friends and well done to the team around what must be your busiest time of the year

   My favourite pub BY FAR! I’m here all the time, there’s a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Food is really great (especially as a vegetarian). Loads of drink options, friendly staff, great environment. Not a bad thing to say! Oven-baked mushrooms and home-fried nachos are unbeatable!

   When my Beef and Red Wine Lasagne arrived it was so small I thought I'd been served something from the children's menu. It was about 3.5" x 3.5" and about 1" - 1.5" thick. No taste of red wine. Strong taste of oregano. Overcooked sheets of pasta. The salad was not generous. Two small pieces of garlic bread. Very good pint of well kept London Pride. Slow service with no apology.

   What a lovely friendly place to spend time with family and friends. Booked for 10 people as we haven't seen some for over a year, so wanted to make it special. Not disappointed at all, we asked if we could bring our two beagle dogs, that wasn't a problem either, they were under the table. The staff were very friendly and helpful, drinks arrived quickly and the meal arrived in good time too. The quality and range of food was brilliant, we were so impressed on the first night we booked again for later that week. Highly recommended, will definitely be visiting again next time we are in the area. Well worthy of 5 stars.....

   This pub offers a CAMRA discount (though the staff don't seem to be aware of it) has a sizable car park as well as a decent sized garden. There's further seating at the front and plenty inside too. A warm and friendly welcome.

   The nachos were very tasty and staff were friendly. However, I ordered the chicken with Chipotle and slaw.. the chicken tasted good, but the slaw was a few dry bits of carrot and red cabbage.. uhmmm...
