Loved the ambiance and the attentive service from the staff (visited Nov 23 5pm). It's a spacious pub that is great for conversation with friends and family. Prices are also reasonable, so you can connect without breaking the bank. I'll definitely be coming back again.
Booked a table for 10 last Saturday at 1.30 for birthday celebrations. Food was delicious, as usual, and the girls serving were very friendly and attentive. We all had a lovely family time in comfortable, festive surroundings. Would definitely recommend to everyone and will ve back again soon. Thank you.
We enjoyed our dining experience on Sunday 22 September 2024. Unfortunately, they had run out of the roast beef option (but it WAS 2.30pm) so we settled for scampi and cod. The food is always good here, and the service (although the pub was very busy) was exemplary.
Great food,staff are polite, helpful and very freindly. The premises are well decorated and spotlessly clean. Our meals were well presented and had a wonderful home cooked flavour. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the central fireplace adds a lovely homely touch. Our server, Lotty is a joy and adds to the whole experience. Great food, great staff, treat yourself to an evening at the Mops, you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely amazing service and food. My children have never eaten so much food and said how amazing it was. The kids got to have a play outside before having dinner. The best calamari I've ever tasted. Reasonably priced, beautiful presentation and full of flavours. We will definitely be back.
What a lovely little pub, I lived down the road from this pub for over 20yrs and never visited, now I have moved away and thought it would be nice to go back to see what it is like and I am pleasantly surprised as to how nice it is. The food is very good and there is a wide choice to choose from and at a very good price. Good selection of drinks of course served by very friendly and polite staff. A nice warm welcome and the atmosphere is excellent, there is a singer sewing machine theme in the bar which is a bit quirky but works well with the decor. Well worth a visit and I will be returning again soon too.
Have visited the Mops & Brooms twice this month, once for a friends birthday and today for Mother's Day. Both occasions were a very enjoyable experience. Warm and welcoming staff, great service, the food is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so relaxed. Highly recommended, for any occasion
Booked here as we were staying locally on the off chance of a decent meal. Very surprised. The place is inviting, clean and well decorated. Lottie was a great server; I personally had both her recommendations for main (lamb shank roast) and lemon meringue for dessert. Both were amazing! Will definitely be back next time we're staying this way.
