   We rented the large function room at the rear for a big birthday party and provided our own food. Dave the manager was an absolute star, very helpful and adaptable making good suggestions. He provides the disco, light show and we gave him a comprehensive play list. On the night everything went perfectly, his staff Hanna and Jamie worked very hard and were excellent, as was Dave, overseeing and making sure everything went smoothly. The best venue for a party we ever had!

   Absolutely five stars! We hosted my dad’s surprise 60th at Brave New World Surbiton and the whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. The team were fantastic friendly, organised, and genuinely invested in making the night special. Communication was smooth in the lead-up, the room was set perfectly, and nothing was too much trouble on the day. Drinks were on point, Dj knew the crowd and kept music top tier, Our guests kept commenting on how well everything was run. Massive thanks to the staff for helping us pull off a memorable night we’d book again in a heartbeat!

   Had a brilliant night last Saturday in the function room. David set up my playlist in advance and was on hand the whole evening to help out, make sure volume set right etc, excellent service. We had plenty of space, staff really pleasant. Would thoroughly recommend for a celebration, we had 26 people from 30+ to 70+, could have taken plenty more but it was perfect for us.

   We had a 60th birthday here and can honestly say it was amazing! David the owner was fantastic and really attentive. The price was really good & the DJ is included in the price! They provide a a balloon arch, lighting, decorations and you can bring your own food which definitely saves some money! Would absolutely recommend this venue for an event. We set up the morning of and they cleared the decorations for us the next day. We also had the outside terrace just for our party which was a great bonus!

   We hired the Brave New World on Saturday the 10th May for our wedding reception. David and his team were outstanding! The prices were extremely reasonable, amazing communication and the staff were phenomenal with myself and all our guests! 100% will be hiring for more private events. They made our wedding reception a night we won’t forget and we couldn’t be more grateful to all of them!

   We had a family event which was in the function room. Can't say enough about the management's generosity. A Hugh thank you from my family on our saddest of days. We supplied our own buffet as they don't do food in that regard. Great location for local residents.

   Had my wife's 50th birthday party there this weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. It has a very good private room at the back with bar, outside space and own loos. The manager David was a great DJ and all the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend for a party.

   Serves a decently poured beer. Was very quiet when I went in to watch footy which id just how I like it. Went on a Monday night. 2 young chaps behind bar where nice and friendly. Has small smoking area for those that need it out back. Toilets are like any pub toilets. Not a very big place.

   Visited the Brave New World for the first time ln about 30 years when it was called The Bun shop for my neices birthday party. It was a very hot night but the hall was wonderful and there was an outside seating area to cool off. The bar staff were excellent and really friendly.. the 3 behind bar make a very good team. The toilets were nice and clean... Parking is on road and free. 5 minute walk from Surbiton station. A nice place..
