First visit with a friend and was not disappointed. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the place is clean. The food is excellent and value for money, good range of foods on the menu and not expensive.
Went here for a Christmas dinner with around 50 other people in my walking club. The meal was exceptionally good, and the service was excellent throughout in what must have been a very busy night for them. Good work. I heartily recommend this pub.
Amazing gastro pub. Tastefully decorated interior that oozes Brittish charm. Great selection of beers. The burgers were pricey but quality.
Fantastic Sunday dinner. Three of us went. Salt and pepper squid and Camembert starter a real treat. Sunday roast ,the pictures say it all. However I did ask for cauliflower cheese which I didn’t get, but will not complain. A great day good honest filling tasty food. Will definitely go back again.
'The Brook' is known to be THE BEST PUB IN TOWN! Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff providing a fantastic service. Highly recommended and family friendly.
Pros: - Nice decor - Good drinks - Desert was nice - Staff were friendly enough Cons: - Food was pretty meh. Not bad but just not great - Food was too expensive for the quality - Parking is minimal when busy - Drinks expensive too, not necessarily a bad thing but just an fyi that a beer is like £6 and a cocktail £10
Best place I’ve eaten, staff are very welcoming and polite. Food is exceptional. Manager also gave me a birthday drink on the house. This is a lovely place for me to come for my coffee before work for a bit of relaxation time. Would deffo recommend
Just popped in for a half pint as I always wanted to visit as I've driven past in the evenings when the garden is beautifully lit up. Loads of outdoor space and a beautiful garden. There was a small child's play area too. This pub is also dog friendly. My friend had an alcohol free beer so it's great that more pubs are providing these options.
Went to The Brook for the first today to have a family meal. The food was very nice, although our mains (3 of us had the honey and orange duck) could have been better. However, we fed this back to the staff which were more than happy to help, and they actually gave us £10 off our meal. Friendly staff, very nice food (albeit a tad pricey), very pleasant venue - would definitely return.
one of the better pub food I have tried. really tasty above average quality. especially lamb burger was stunning
