Just booked for our Christmas party in 2 weeks. I'll let you know how it was in an update! Update... What a great evening. Very welcoming, friendly and organised team. We had the whole place to ourselves which for 45 people worked well. Sit down christmas dinner (3 choices) and the food was really tasty and served quick and hot. Thanks Donald.
We’ve been coming to this pub since last year, and it’s always such a warm and welcoming place with friendly, dynamic, and young staff. They’ve recently made some great improvements to the venue, but the atmosphere remains just as inviting. During our recent visit, I accidentally left my ring wrapped in a tissue on the table. The team went above and beyond — they actually went through the bin to find it for me! I’m so grateful for their honesty and kindness. A special shoutout to Sidney, who was incredibly polite and truly a gentleman throughout. Thank you so much for your help — you made my day!
Amazing food. Had the lamb leg. Amazing service. Food quality is absolutely exceptional. Big shout out to the chef. Always walked past and was curious about venturing in. Really happy I did! Can't wait to come back. Would definitely recommend.
I popped into The Crown & Anchor recently and was blown away—not just by the venue, which is stylish and welcoming, but by the cappuccino I was served. Paul, the manager, personally made it for me, and it was nothing short of outstanding. The foam was perfectly textured, smooth and velvety, and the dark roast he used had a rich, bold flavour that most mainstream cafes can only dream of. You can tell Paul takes real pride in his work—every step was done with care and precision. It’s rare to find someone who not only knows their coffee inside out but also runs such a tight, well-managed operation. There are no shortcuts here as my cappuccino was better than what you’d get in most specialist coffee shops, let alone chain cafés. If you’re after a proper coffee made by someone who really knows their craft, The Crown & Anchor is the place to go.
Came for Sunday Roast after the change in ownership and management. Roast was decent, great staff - super friendly. Beers on tap were great too.
Honestly I had the best experience ever. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the food and drinks were just top notch. The service was probably my best part; everybody was friendly and lovely. Especially Ana, she was truly the best server I’ve ever come across. A ray of sunshine and so down to earth. Overall, I highly recommend this place for any occasion you may have.
Me and my boyfriend came here few days ago for our anniversary and we had the loveliest of time. The food was gorgeous, the cocktails were delicious and the staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate my drinking preferances. Our server was Richard and he made sure that everything was perfect AND he had great jokes which was like a bonus for us. Definitely recommending and most definitely coming back.
What a fab find! From the bustling high street to calmness! Such a warm welcome from Richard when I arrived and the other staff were all very friendly and attentive. Great selection of Gins and ales. Lots of offers on various drinks. The food looked amazing with plenty of choice, didn't eat myself, but those that did cleared their plates! Decorated to keep the buildings originality. Loads of tables some you can watch live sports from, which is what I did today, tables at the back of the building are quieter and no doubt just as popular. As a lone female I felt very safe in there, as I'm sure anyone would. If I'm ever visiting the area again I will definitely go back!
Great pub on Chiswick High Road, on the green and between the church, school and town hall - Central and relaxed. Highly recco the fish and chips! Enjoy stiiting on the terrace and watching Chiswick go by on a lazy sunny weekend. Richard served really well but all the staff are helpuful and nice.
