   Had Sunday (and a birthday) lunch today. How lovely. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was cosy. We really enjoyed it. I'm local, my friends not so, but I'll happily call in for a midweek bite to eat by myself if I fancy it.

   The day we attended the children's baby seating was outside so I was unable to sit my child in a babysat as they were all wet. However the venue and setting was lovely, relaxed.

   I had lunch with a friend today (14/07/25) and had scampi and chips from the lunch menu. The food was served nice and hot and the portion size was ideal. The bar staff were very friendly and the kitchen staff were very good too as we didn’t wait long for our meal to be served. I also like the fact you get a choice of garden peas or mushy peas. We also shared a bottle of house rose wine which was very nice and good value for money. This was the first time I have been to this pub and will definitely return again soon.

   First-time visit, although we live locally. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were polite and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Pay-and-display parking is across the road. We would definitely be coming back.

   Wonderful experience of Sunday Lunch at the Ye Olde Red Lion on Sun 26th March. Invited friends for lunch, as it was so close to my house and have been several times before. There are new staff and chef, all the staff made us feel very welcomed, we got the table I asked for. All of our roast meals were lovely, the bread and butter pudding was gorgeous. Highly recommend especially with the new kitchen staff. We certainly will be visiting again.

   Took my family here for dinner, it was amazing. Food was great, pub has a lovely atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Matt who gave us great service! We will definitely be back really soon!

   Very impressed with this pub. Great food, excellent and attentive service from the staff and a dog-welcoming environment. The pub is in a lovely quiet spot away from the main road and has a lovely charm to it, added to by the staff and the delicious food which I really enjoyed. I will return there again in the future.

   Had a few Thursday night drinks in here. Very cosy traditional pub with a few low ceilings so watch out. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and efficient. Looks like there's an extensive beer garden which I imagine is great when the weather suits. Would definitely visit again.
