We had Gordon's Japanese banquet. The food was exceptional. Gordon takes great pride and is passionate in his cooking and explained every dish to us. It was the best Japanese food I've ever had. Every dish was delicious and freshly prepared. Lovely staff too and a really nice pub for drinks too. With a very pretty covered garden at the back. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I have very recently discovered this pub. Went with family for dinner and the food was incredible. The chef paid a lot of attention to detail by asking us how we wanted certain dishes to be cooked and how hot / spicy we wanted them. The bar staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful. I look forward to coming back very soon.

We came in recently for My Friend’s birthday and the vibe was amazing! The pub owner really knows how to sing and he had another friend who really put on a great show for us. I did not even know a pub like this existed in Brentford where you could have your own karaoke session with your friends and family ! Most definitely Recommended from that perspective. In terms of food, I did think it was rather bland and very dry. Most people did not enjoy the food they received, but that was the only negative. The customer service was amazing. The bartenders and the hosts make sure to check in with us quite frequently.

Wow, the service here is amazing! The food is absolutely incredible, and the drinks are seriously good. The beer garden is gorgeous and has such a cute theme. Gordon and the staff are super friendly and make the whole experience even better!

Recently moved to the area and slowly working our way through the local pubs. We walked in on a Tuesday evening to find the place completely empty. This did look a bit suspicious, but we decided to give it a chance anyway. Drink selection very limited, but we're not fussy, so that wasn't an issue. Bartender very charming and friendly, and as we were ordering our drinks the owner came out for a chat too. He was friendly and mentioned that their food is fresh and home cooked, so we decided to have dinner there as well. The food arrived quickly, I ordered the chicken wings and my partner ordered the haggis. Unfortunately the wings were inedible - soggy, lukewarm, and with a very clear taste of microwaved chicken. When the owner came to ask how our food was, I informed him that the wings are not great and I wasn't going to eat them. He then proceeded to pull a chair up and sit at the table with us explaining how he has to cook them in batches and refrigerate them. This was very strange, considering my partner was eating, as he sat down with us to tell me how it's my fault that I didn't mention beforehand that I didn't like re-heated chicken. It made us very uncomfortable. Sad to say we will not be returning to the Watermans Arms, mostly due to the owner's very strange behaviour when faced with criticism about his food.

Very tasty Japanese curry, nice beer, a friendly welcome. Just round the corner from Premier Inn Kew Bridge

Good, though not extensive selection of ales and ciders. Great food which is definitely made on the premises. Gazpacho and Thai, spicy, chicken salad were fresh and delicious. Good "outdoor" section which is covered and benefits from a wide variety of plants around the sides.

Interesting looking interior but garden was a shambles. A little more attention was needed to make it more amenable... It had been a busy day so many menu options were not available but nevertheless our orders were freshly cooked and tasty. Our waitress was rushed off her feet as she was serving at the bar too. She was lovely. Obviously our meal took ages to arrive but it was very tasty when it did! Great food! It was a very hot day with no craft beers but the Guiness was available... Thank you for all yr efforts during the hottest day of this summer.

Really poor and one to avoid. We ordered calamari, fish and chips and a bottle of Merlot wine, the wine came without a label. On opening it was undrinkable , alerted the bar staff who got the cook, he tried a glass and told us it was actually really nice and he was a trained sommelier, so he would know! The wine was undrinkable. The charged us in full for it, we never drank a drop and left it with him. Food was almost as bad as the wine, the frozen calamari hadn't been cooked properly and the frozen fish and chips hadn't been cooked to the packet instructions and were soggy and wet. The minted peas are frozen peas smothered in cheap mint sauce. We left that too. Paid in full not one pence of discount and given we didn't drink or eat anything pretty poor and i would avoid.
