   Had a wonderful Sunday roast with the family at this fabulous, atmospheric local pub. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We even brought our dog along, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

   A great spot for a brunch/afternoon tipple! Cocktails: Loved the cocktail selection! The Bakewell was noted as sweet and delicious, while the Margarita was perfectly sour. Atmosphere: Enjoyable and good atmosphere for midday. Staff: Friendly and polite staff provided good service. Food: •The Pulled Pork Focaccia was great. • The Bubble and Squeak was disappointing to one friend.

   Had lovely breakfast served by warmest welcome of happy Sharon. Dining area was very cozy and clean. Fresh and yummy main served with complimentary filter coffee and continental breakfast. Highly recommend.

   Although we visited with a very large party there was plenty of room for us all to be sat relatively close together! Considering we put in a lot of food and drink orders in a short space of time, the wait wasn’t longer than necessary at all. We had a look at the lunch menu and as soon as we noticed the battered haddock and tartar sandwich, we were sold! The haddock was perfectly cooked and crispy with a decent amount of tartar which complimented perfectly. Our side of fries was also extra yummy and served with wild garlic mayo which was amazing! Somebody else on our table ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese with many comments of how delicious it was; filled with a generous amount of salmon! Lastly and quite importantly we were very happy to see vegetable crudités and humous on the kids menu, as often it’s easy to order for young children but not necessarily for babies and this was a perfect option. We just asked for cucumber rather than the carrots to stay on the safe side, and they came in perfect slices - great for baby led weaning when out on the go. The humous was lovely and definitely tasted homemade! We will 100% be coming back here again:)

   Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Greyhound Pub. The staff was super friendly, ordering via their app in January gives you a £10 off the bill, which is a bonus. Had the vegetarian burger and it was delicious, we cleaned the plate! Chips were cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend it and it’s dog friendly too, so if you have a furry friend, you can take him/her with you.

   Great company as always! Breakfast was A-OK, although no non-dairy milk options so couldn't have a coffee ( bit disappointing). Think the serving plates need a rethink - they are huge!

   Love this hotel. My daughter lives close by and we have stayed here for years, Always a fabulous welcome by the owners and looking forward to returning soon for a weekend on our way to visit family for Christmas. Dog friendly too!

   Arrived on a Saturday at about 3pm. We sat in the outside seated area, it was clean & tidy and that’s the same for inside too. The toilets a very clean as well. The food was delicious and very well presented on the plate. The deserts are tasty and again very well presented. The staff are friendly and we’ll definitely come back here again.
