   I haven't been here in years, decades even! Good to see it's still running, post Youngs. Recently bought by a pubco, I forget the name, that also runs the Long Room at Tooting (formerly the Mitre). Doom Bar was in very good condition! If getting there by public transport, a tram to Beddington Lane makes sense, as the 463 bus will get you to the pub. But it could be a bit of a wait. A better option is to get off at Therapia Lane and there are 2 bus routes to choose from: the S4 and the 463. They're not from the same bus stop, so check your live bus arrivals app while on the tram to decide which one to go for.

   Service with a smile couldn't do enough for you. We had a burger and pint each for over forty pounds all in. The chips were decent and the burger was very nice with cheese and pickle.

   We come here after always driving past the place, thought let's have a roast dinner the beef was lovely it had such a good taste and was thick cut. The wine was reasonable and tasted great, the show stopper was the Roast Spuds! Amazing! Ordered more and took some home in a takeaway box. Not much choices for the desert but the sticky toffee was good. Big old place staff amazing especially the old dear and Robyn. We got talking about Christmas times at the plough and the monthly quiz nights! I'd definitely come back, I wana try the fish and chips. Come down and give it a go. Rhino x

   I jumped on the bus going the wrong way to get home from ASDA . When I and the wife jumped off to head the right direction we decided to grab a bite when we saw the Plough. They were only serving Sunday Roast and I am extremely glad . I would have hated to have ordered something else and missed this great dish! Being from Texas there is a certain expectation when it come to cooked beef and this roast didn’t disappoint but you will pay for it. It’s a bit pricey for only 1 piece of beef but the quality was outstanding. I will return for more!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   The manager is very good and friendly. I had the jacket potato with beans and Macroni cheese, both were tasty. My friend enjoyed the Strak pie, the garlic bread was cold. The Guinness was decent.

   I had a fantastic birthday party here. We asked to use the Sports bar which is a ‘room’ off the main bar. The staff were great. We had the buffet, very generous amounts of varied treats. The atmosphere on a Friday night was humming. Our guests were without exception all impressed. Thanks to the team.
