New to the area and decided to check out some of the local pubs. Butterchurn is by far my favourite. The girls behind the bar were so sweet and also helped me out with directions too, will definitely be back for a game of pool next time
Always a good night for a game of pool or some darts. Free jukebox on Friday nights so we can put some good tunes on. Cheap pints, great staff! Love the Churn
Staying at a friend’s place for a few weeks and wanted to sus out the local places so we popped in here for a few pints! What a great pub. Reminds me of what pubs used to be like - everyone friendly and here for a good time. Really enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the staff were great. And the prices not bad for this day and age!! Wish our local back home was more like this place.
This is the 2nd time we have been here! ... Friendly staff, excellent quality food with good location. A lot of varieties on the menu, and really good price. The staff run the restaurant with their heart, even the plates served are preheated, and foods are hot and fresh. Highly recommend !
Friendly staff, went midweek so was pretty quiet. Was able to find a spot to sit and eat dinner. Their food was nice. Visited again on a Friday night, it was a very different experience. Loud music, lots of loud chatter and singing along, great atmosphere. Still plenty of seating, but avoid if you want a quiet chat. Parking wasn't an issue either day. I got the impression they were dog friendly from their website, but didn't see any dogs on my visit.
Arrived at opening time on Sunday and we were given a warm welcome at the bar. Our drinks and food orders were taken efficiently and in a friendly manner. Food was served hot and tasty. We would definitely return if we are in the area again. Thanks for a great meal and service.
The service we received in this pub was exceptional. There were 2 families in our party and the guy serving us reserved an area for us so the kids could run around. The food was very good and also very cheap! Going to make it a Sunday ritual
Came here for lunch for my boyfriends birthday and it was a great afternoon the food was lovely and they evening did a special pudding for his birthday☺️ Sharney is a great team leader and always makes sure we’re well looked after!! Our Lovely local!
A little gem. ... Amazing staff, beautiful location. Excellent quality food with a good variety on the menu. Dog friendly. Carpark. Definitely recommend a visit.
