   I was really looking forward to coming here, despite the long journey it was well well worth the trip. I used the website to try and plan for high tide, but unfortunately I was 15 minutes out but that just calls for another trip soon. The food was absolutely incredible for what I’d normally expect from pub food, and the service was friendly and attentive. Also, the decoration of the restaurant area was gorgeous, it’s a shame I didn’t get to see much of the downstairs but I will definitely be back.

   This pub deserves a higher rating. The fish and chips were top tier! Nicely salted with the perfect crunch and white fish, comes with a gorgeous curry sauce on the side and mushy peas. Roast beef was great too and very decent tasting Yorkshire puddings, plenty of gravy. Came on a very hot and sunny Sunday so the downstairs was a bit rammed and upstairs hot, there are fans and it’s rarely this hot outside in fairness. We will visit again when back in Richmond.

   One of my favourite pubs in London, and best in Richmond. Great food, service and you get the best view and seating by the river. One of the best fish & chips you’ll find.

   Given sunshine and high tide, the pub gives you breath taking scene of the river. Quality of f & b is not bad but a bit shy of the magnificent outside view. The beer’s temperature could have been better maintained while the fish and chips were slightly overdone for my order.

   Excellent Young's pub in Richland. Came on a very very busy Sunday evening and was still able to get great drinks and great service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was busy. Great selection of drinks and food looked good too. Really nice to see the reusable plastic cups! Much better for the environment Definitely recommend!

   Nice place for an evening drink in Richmond. Historic pub with a good selection of real ale and ciders. Grab a plastic glass and wander over to the river for gorgeous views towards Richmond bridge.

   Absolutely one of my favourite pubs in London. Almost regardless of the weather I try and sit outside for the views up to Richmond Bridge and the closeness to the river. It almost feels like the countryside! The insight is snug and the top floor affords some excellent views. The beer choice is broad and the food, especially the Sunday roasts are superb.

   Wow. I was blown away by this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, I felt like they were very inclusive and also gave my dog treats. The veggie roast dinner was probably the best I’ve ever had. The pub itself is very cosy and traditional and has wonderful river views. A really nice place.
