I spent a week in London and went to this pub almost every day because it was close to my hotel, and it felt like being at home. The owner and the other staff always greeted me warmly, I met people from all over the world, and I had some truly amazing evenings there. On top of that, the Guinness was perfect. Unfortunately, on my last day I arrived too late, but I was still given an incredibly heartfelt farewell with a hug, and you can count on this: I’ll be back next year. Cheers, your Austrian boy.

I came here 2 of my 3 nights in London as it was near my hotel. Absolutely loved it. I'm an older single American and I felt completely welcomed by folks there. People were so friendly and I had some fun conversations both nights. I so wish I could come back soon. But when I'm next in London I will for sure be back!

Great boozer. Interiors really nice and traditional. Staff were perfect. Broad selection of drinks. It would've been nice to see some more ales on besides landlord, just my preference though. Loads of benches outside under a shelter, great for hiding from the rain.

Dropped in Saturday afternoon, 1st pub after dropping off bags at abab. Great Guinness, really friendly locals who talked cause if you get involved it works. Characterful Landlord, bet it gets packed weekends. GREAT.

A great little corner pub, The Prince of Wales is bustling with customers enjoying the football. Happy crew offering excellent service. Plenty of beer both cask and keg. This is most certainly a well cared for venue. Thank you to the team for my time here.

American here. Visited London alone and this pub made me feel like I lived there my whole life. Fantastic staff and patrons who were welcoming and not short of conversation. Great local beers on tap. Thank you to Peter for giving me a great experience of a true English pub.

Nice pub with a great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They have a good selection of bar snacks and food to choose from. It's located not too far from Victoria station and the theatre's. Also not far from many restaurants so is convenient if you want to go for a couple of drinks before going out for a meal or a show

Great "locals" pub experience! I was invited in like I'd been going there for 30 years! What a great evening hoisting a few pints! Peter is a great bar keep that wants to invite you into his family! Jimmy is the "Norm" of this bar that completes it!
