When i come here, I feel myself as if i am at home and chatting with my friends. Garden was amazing and very wide to visit with your crowded friends. Stuff are so kind and quick. I recommend all Londoners to go this lovely pub.

Under new management, can see the improvements and highly recommend. It's cozy, with a good beer garden. Had Sunday roasts two consecutive weeks and the food was amazing - large portions and excellent quality meat. It's dog friendly, even treats for them at the bar :) The customer services from the new family are outstanding and wishes them all the success

Dreadfully disappointing roast. Seemed a friendly place, in need of a do over. Was very quiet on a Sunday which should have been a clue. Waited over 45 minutes for two £17 lamb roasts - they apologised for a mix up - that wasn’t the issue - though the pub was almost empty. The issue was the food, when it came. A few meagre slices of substandard lamb, yellow undercooked broccoli, hard potatoes, some frozen peas, dried up carrot slices, stuffing?, half a sad parsnip, a cold Yorkshire pudding and thick gravy. To be honest I would have been disappointed with it at £7 in a caff. I know it’s tough for pubs these days and I wouldn’t mind paying £17 for decent quality. But this was one of the most memorably bad meals I have had.

With so many 5 star ratings, I thought it’d be a nice pub but your food must be a joke. I’d give 0 star if I could. After waiting 50 min for 2 portions of lamb in an empty pub(they said they gave the food to someone else), what you get is a dead yellow uncooked broccoli, stone hard potatoes, a sad old string of parsnip, smelly lamb and sticky cold gravy. Never been so disappointed in food. A total waste of £17 or something. Staff is smiley and friendly which I do appreciate but it doesn’t really make up for the delay or the awful food. There are better places where you can get way better food and service for the less/same price.

They serve the best chips. Service was warm and friendly. Interior was a bit tired and can make so much more of there outside seating area given the woodland around gives the whole place a magical feeling.

We stumbled across this pub on a detour off the M25 during the bridge closure. We all had a drink, used the facilities and were welcomed. Gorgeous traditional open fire place with a fire burning and comfortable surroundings. Good size car park. If we ever fond ourselves in this part of London again, we'll be sure to drop in.
