   Im sorry i dont agree with anyone who wrote a glowing review about this RIP OFF RESTURANT ! I took my son for sunday lunch today there , as i thought it may be half decent, on reading the reviews, we had booked a table for 14,30, and had to wait about 3/4 of an hour before we recieved our first starter, they came fairly quickly with the drinks - pepermint tea and a coke, - the pepermint tea, was lovely and a good price £3.00, the cola about the same! My son and I ordered a starter, my son ordered Bbq- ribs- ( £20) which turned out to be a rather nasty frozen piece of sweetcorn warm, cut into four bits- covered in some BBQ sauce- i did query their description ,as RIBS usually means meat, andI was livid about the fact ehy just said well theyre popular, I wasnt happy at all as i was paying, and my starter was pan seared scallops, - more like pan burned scallops, served in a rather nasty carrot sauce, both dishes were barely warm !!! not nice at all , maybe its me but people seem to happy with poor wuality food and happy to pay a huge price for it too - !! The Main course, i ordered the vegan pie and roast veg, ( supposed to be rosemary roast potatoes, i couldnt detect the rosemary at all ) the vegan pie didnt come with a yorkshire, so i had to buy one a the extra cost of £1.50 !- the food was again barely warm , - and my son ordered the pork belly roast, supposedly duck roast potatoes , he said they were horrible, and he said the pork belly crackling was like leather, and there was a huge piece of fat in it too, he took the crackling home for the fox, and the fat home for the dog, and he left most of the veg, and the gravy on both wasnt nice, it happend to be the hottest thing ,so we used it to heat up our food ! The veg was cabbage and peas mixed, and they didnt cook the cabbage well , and roast carrots, it looks ok in the picture, but it was barely warm andand didnt taste nice, and i was charged £75, for both- so £37,50 each , now for that price i would expect a decent Sunday Roast, IT WASNT DECENT ! IT WAS NOT NICE, plus they seemed to be hurring us up , as they wanted to bring the main out with the starter, and they were not busy !! There was about three other couples in the restuaraunt, I am horrified!! We decided not to waste any more money as they on y had two deserts neither of which we fancied, and the cost of the food left a nasty taste in my mouth - i wont be comming back , and i will tell everyone i i know to give it very wide berth - RIBS £20 - SWEETCORN COVERED IN BBQ sauce!!! RIP OFF MERCHANTS !

   Very well presented dishes and cocktail. Service was ok albeit slow to receive walk-ins. It turned out to be a bit of a letdown after a visit to the wet-floor toilet in the basement in the end. Given it was a busy pub restaurant and its reasonable prices, marginally 4 stars.

   Had an amazing afternoon in Mr Fox yesterday. They were understaffed, due to sickness, but it didn't make a bit of difference! The lads worked their absolute socks off!!! Cocktails were great and the Veggie Weelington & Roast Beef were immense. VERY happy bunnies we were, will definitely be back.

   We came here for the Sunday Roast and it was absolutely amazing. I had the Pork Belly and it was moist and full of flavour. The skin was crunchy but not hard enough to break my teeth. My only complaint was that the portion was kind of small. I also enjoyed the veggies, the beetroot was crunchy and sweet but not too overwhelming

   Visited last night after wanting to try this place for ages and we were not disappointed. Lovey venue with very friendly staff, amazing cocktails and the food was outstanding too. Would highly recommend the seared duck breast.

   Visited a couple of times since restrictions were lifted. Very professional service with staff attending tables to take orders regularly. Definitely London pricing, cocktails will set you back £9.50+ a pop but they are delicious and pack a punch. And the food!!!...I had the hake, partner had the bone marrow burger - I have not had food that good since the Michelin starred Albert's Table closed down. Outstanding! You do need to book in advance and you only get 2 hrs per booking per day. Not all tables have heaters but vast majority do and 90% of tables are covered. On our 2nd visit the heater above our table wasn't working which was a shame because we would have stayed longer if it had been. A must visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike.
