   The guy at the bar was really friendly and helpful. The bar and the food is separate. The waitress who took my order was amazing but the chef had an attitude. The food was served cold , sent it back and the chef rolled his eyes at us. The curry goat wasn't great and I could tell the rice and peas was stale. The steamed veg was amazing .

   Visited The Alma Tavern to celebrate our friends birthday and we had a brilliant evening. Very welcoming pub, and despite being busy the bar service was good and relatively quick. Drinks were reasonably priced and we made the most of the 2for1 cocktail offer. Will definitely be back.

   I went in there with two dogs and very pleased that the lady offered me water for the dogs as well as treats. It seems to have improved since new management have taken over. I didn’t have food but did see other customers with food and it looked good so I’m tempted to try it. I think the dogs give you 10 out of 10 for the crisps and water. Lol

   Went to this pub for the first time tonight as it is our local and was shocked and never felt so uncomfortable. It also clearly states on their website they do 2 for 1 cocktails until 7pm so when we got there we ordered some which the girl behind the bar said was fine. Once our drinks were served we were then told by the manager that they no longer do the 2for1 deal and it shouldn't have been on the menu and charged us full price instead. The girl behind the bar didn't know how to make the drinks as was reading the ingredients on the menu and the drinks were disgusting. Would never go back.    Nice pub that shows Sky Sports. The taps are as fresh as I've tasted anywhere and my friend said the burger meal he had was very nice. Pool tables and darts available too.
