   A Wetherspoons in a previous life - not been updated much since being taken over but does the job of a Wetherspoons but with slightly pricier drinks and no food - a very good crisp selection however.

   Cracking little boozer in Purley with loads of beers, spirits and wines on offer. Great service from a lovely team and a fab place to spend a few hours. And the music is usually cracking too, lo ts of disco, Motown, soul and pop. Great!

   Staff treated me quite unfairly I sat down and decided to charge my phone a bit before I got up to order. Within a few minutes of my entering, staff then approached me and let me know charging ports were for customers only, to which I replied letting them know id absolutely be making a purchase soon. A minute later that staff returned and asked me to leave, stating that he would no longer serve me. I was in the pub for 5 minutes at most. To staff, whilst your rule is completely reasonable to enforce it so strictly in less than 5 minutes is insane. I thought pubs were meant to have a relaxed atmosphere? Please do consider how you treat different types of customers, some people just want to get comfy first! Best of luck regardless.

   Another great pub! Friendly staff. Good food. I had the ham and cheese panini (forgot to take a picture). It was delicious! You can order from the app and they'll bring it to your table. There was no gas for carbonated drinks, but that was minor. They had bottled cider which is just as good as what's on tap. Plenty of seating. There are also a few tables outside in the front. Restrooms are clean, large and upstairs. There is also a handicapped restroom on the ground floor.

   Lovely pub! Has the ability to embody a traditional country pub, with the cheap prices you expect. Staff are so friendly, and give a real personal touch! Great for if you're on your own for a quick pint, and great for groups too!

   Great little pub! I come here often, even on my own for a few drinks on my days off from work and I’m never made to feel unwelcome. The staff are a credit to the company and couldn’t do more to help customers, their customer service is impeccable. I’m a regular here for the quiz they do every Wednesday! I heard on the grapevine that this spoons has been put up for sale and could be closed, this would be a great loss to the people of purely and I hope it doesn’t close :)

   What a wonderful and unexpected pub in downtown Purley. Not as big as some 'spoons, but a good size with plenty of room to move about. It really looks like a boozer but in reality is a nice quiet place to meet up and have something to eat and drink. The pub is very clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. Not that many people in when I was there, but I get the feeling this is a hive of local activity. One of the 'spoons that has been put up for sale unfortunately and from chatting to the locals, it will be truly missed. And on the continuing egg saga: they had some, so the breakfast was as excellent as expected.
