We love going to this place, and it's very convenient because it's just down the road from King's College Hospital. A hospital I have to visit very regularly. The atmosphere is great in the evening, but a bit quieter during the day. But we love it. They offer a quiz night on a Tuesday evening which attracts a lot of people. I haven't attended myself but my husband and daughter took part when I was recently an inpatient at King's. The food is great and they've recently introduced their new winter menu. However, it does depend on which chefs are working on that day as the quality can vary slightly. But I must stress this does not mean it's a bad meal. The service is generally good but on busy nights you may have to wait to be served both wiyh drinks and food. But they get to you as soon as they're able. We visit regularly and will continue to do so. Thank you.

A chilled vibe welcomes you as you enter this spacious pub. A warm welcome from friendly staff allowed for a relaxed and enjoyable early afternoon lunch. Food was served quickly, very well presented and loved up to the promises on the menu. Three real ales on, served in good condition, nice wine selection by the glass.

Our lunch at The Sun today was a great way to start our weekend. The good was fantastic, high quality and authentic. We really enjoyed the feta with focaccia and the halloumi sticks. We were looked after really well by Katie who was very friendly and kind. It's my first time visiting and I think this is a neighbourhood gem!

Iris served us today. We had a mini family gathering and she did a fantastic job. The roast was delicious and we had a lovely dinner.

Love this pub, always treated well by staff who go out of their way to accommodate all customers. Have just been witness to staff being treated appallingly by a rude and disrespectful customer. Due to no fault of their own the kitchen has had to close due to a gas issue. Customer became aggressive and rude towards staff who were doing their best to find an alternative solution, such as a different establishment that they had been in touch with and were available to cover the booking. The customer was having none of it and was making the atmosphere in the pub very uncomfortable for those of us trying to enjoy a nyd pint, including writing a negative and false review whilst still talking to the staff. However I commend the staff who managed to maintain a calm and respectful attitude whilst dealing with such arrogance.

We recently visited with a large group to celebrate my birthday. The service was fantastic as always, but the Sunday Roast was very disappointing. Although the different roasts were very tasty (chicken, vegan, lamb, turkey), the portions were ridiculously small. I had never had a Sunday roast and left hungry before! We sure did this time! the meat portions were tiny, and the single slice of carrot, next to the rest of the very very few vegetables was shocking, specially for a £16-£18 per plate. It felt more like a kid’s menu. We love this place, and it is our go to pub for a drink, but I doubt we’ll be back for a roast!

Nice pub! Can get a normal range of beers, it’s generally quite busy but with a nice atmosphere. Has a covered outdoor area around the back - contrary to what you might think, doesn’t get that much sun out the back

Lovely clean pub with good service and excellent food. We went for Sunday lunch with friends and 3 kids and had a great meal. Service was good and food was even better. The beef croquet was outstanding and the Sunday roast was all excellent- we had a pork, a chicken and a vegetarian. All very good with heritage carrots, fantastic roasted potatoes and full body gravy. Yum!

Local pub with massive space in and out The building is old ( which gives a vibe) Visited for Sunday roast. The roast it self was very mediocre ( the lamb dry and overcooked without seasoning , beef like a shoe , salmon pan fried - nothing special. Their bar snacks were mediocre too - as the calamari was small portion for £7.5 and very soft for crispy. Delicious Bloody Mary Service chaotic and slow Very low hygiene standards Expensive ( paid £40 for a roast , and two drinks)
