   I visited The Chelsea Potter on Sunday and was genuinely pleased by how well they cater to vegetarians. Pub menus can be hit-or-miss when you’re avoiding meat, but this place offered several thoughtful options rather than the usual token dish. I started with the roasted tomato and basil soup, which arrived steaming hot, tasted fresh and homemade, with a nice balance between sweetness and acidity and a real winter warmer. The warm bread on the side was a simple touch, but it made the starter feel especially comforting. For my main, I chose the vegetable pie, and it was a highlight. The pastry was crisp and golden, and the filling had a great mix of hearty vegetables in a rich, savoury sauce—full of flavour but not heavy. The mash was creamy, and the seasonal greens on the side were cooked just right, with a bit of bite left in them. It felt like a proper pub classic, just without the meat, and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I also tried the chips, because it’s a pub and it would be rude not to. They were exactly what you want—crisp outside, fluffy inside, and not greasy. A minor detail, but one that says a lot about how the kitchen treats even the simplest items. The service really made the meal a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The staff (we were served by Nathan) checked in at the right moments, were friendly without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely pleased to help with any query we had and any item we asked for. It’s rare to feel this well looked after in a busy pub, and it made the whole experience much more enjoyable.

   I had a fantastic time at The Chelsea Potter. The pub has a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you step inside. It strikes a great balance between lively and relaxed — perfect for catching up with friends, enjoying a meal, or stopping in for a casual pint. I was served by Nathan behind the bar who was friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful, which really added to the experience. Service was quick, and nothing felt like too much trouble. I was also impressed with the food. Classic pub dishes done well, generous portions, everything felt hearty, generous, and made with care. The drinks selection is excellent too, with plenty of beers on tap, a solid range of wines, and a great 0% range and soft drinks options, so everyone can find a drink they are happy with. It’s a comfortable, easy-going pub with plenty of charm, and the location in the heart of Chelsea makes it an ideal stop whether you're local or just passing through. I’ll definitely be returning — highly recommended!

   If you want a burger, spare your taste buds and go to Five Guys instead. The beef burger was pathetic, with just a scrap of salad on it. But the meat patty was absolutely disgusting. It looked like pre-processed, pre-frozen rubbish and tasted like pre-processed, pre-frozen rubbish. We try to support pubs, but when they purposely rip off their customers by serving up rubbish like this, they have no right to complain business is tough. A decent burger pattie isn't hard to make from scratch. Never again.

   Stopped in for “just one” at the Chelsea Potter on a lazy Sunday and accidentally time-traveled into the best people-watching sitcom London never filmed. I ordered a 1664 because I’m a classy bloke with continental aspirations. The vibe? Immaculate. It’s like the pub itself took a Xanax and said, “Let’s just chill, mate.” Everyone around looked like they were either recovering from a night at Soho House or preparing to casually buy a building. And me? I was the main character, beer in hand, judging outfits like it was fashion week and I was Anna Wintour in sneakers. Highly recommend if you want to sip, stare, and silently narrate other people’s lives with zero judgment (well, minimal judgment). Bonus points for clean loos and zero seagull attacks. 4/5 would sit here again pretending I live in a Richard Curtis movie.

   It is a nice small pub in a good location, however I am not eating it highly due to a grumpy barman (but everyone can have an off day) and a meaningful number of menu items that were not available.

   I'm not impressed. With the exception of friendly staff, this pub was a let down. It is pricey first of all, and I realise this is Sloane Square. I would still expect better quality for the money I pay. Food was OK. Nothing special. Decor was nice but shock, shock, horror. The toilets literally stank. Haven't these people heard of bleach? You won't see me going there again.

   Very friendly service from one of the female members of staff and great Jubilee atmosphere! Varied menu and reasonable prices for King's Road, however the Sausages & Mash was a bit off, very dense mash almost like a paste...
