whilst this pub doesn’t give off foody vibes, I had a great Sunday roast here and would highly recommend. Service was great, food was fresh and high quality, with an affordable price point. Will definitely return!
I am 60 and currently employed in Legal Services by Enfield Council and for the last couple of months have stayed over 2 days a week. I live in south Manchester and there are numerous local pubs but none as good as The Kings Head. The staff are incredible as is the Landlady and could not have been more friendly and the locals are the same. Quite simply one of the finest public houses I have ever been to and I have certainly been to many this last 42 years or so all around the country.
This is my favourite pub in Enfield. I was here when it opened at 11am so was the only customer. This is a traditional pub, downstairs there are three sections to it and they have an upstairs function room. In addition there is a lot of exterior seating some of which is under cover. They do sell food, check out their lunch special menu of one starter and one main for £15.95 (Mon-Fri). They have three cask ales and a large selection of gins. Between 4pm and 7pm they have a special on beer buckets, 5 bottles for £20. Going on previous experience this pub does get busy evenings and weekends. The location is great, in the market square next to the church (5 minute walk from Enfield Town station). If you visit Enfield I certainly recommend this pub.
Lovely pub that hosts lots of events in the community and staff are very friendly to boot The pub isn’t that big but the dining room is spacious and well decorated plus there is an upstairs function room. The food is also quite tasty too and much better than I was expecting.
We had Sunday roast here. The quality was great and reasonably priced. The staff were nice too. Will come back and try other dishes next time.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner of pub food at the King's Head in Enfield. The pies were hot and flaky and the chips were crisp and tasty.
Korean souce Burger..... Every one should try. Amazing food and great service with superb atmosphere. Did i mention the great choice of drinks. I was asked by the chef to try the Korean souce burger, and i was blown by how good it tasted. Now it is my number one choice food at The Kings Head. Thank you chef for introducing me to this new burger.
Excellent Lunch for 2 old boys, plus 2 pints of Ghost Ship each, how better can you spend mid day. Pub clean and tidy, pleasant bar staff, good couple of hours. Recommended.
Excellent food, service was alright. The Kings Head have team up with 'On'On Grill & Pierogi' and it was a very good idea, the food is amazing! The cheesecake was excellent as well. The décor is a traditional pub. The service was alright, it took us a little while to get our drinks, however don't let that put you off. Overall a good experience and worth going just for the food.
