First time trying this pub again after a few years… I met the lovely manager Nic nice bubbly young woman… pub garden is hidden but lovely will be returning for sure
Great pub, clean and tidy, also has a nice pool table. I was greeted by a lovely girl called Elease on entry who was very caring and attentive. The drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was good. I personally rate this pub.
Good pub. It's got considerably more expensive for the area after the partnership with Greene King, but I guess there are not many other options to keep going in these trying times. It's still a very good place to have some drinks, tidy, affordable, large garden and the only pub nearby serving hot food.
Really good food and the staff was super nice. The beef and ale pie was delicious

My go-to pub, especially when I need the comfort of my beloved but despairing Spurs comrades. The pub underwent a good scrub up a few years ago and is much more pleasant other than when Spurs lose, which is too often. Decent pub grub, friendly patrons, and keen enough price. Can get a bit rowdy but that just enhances the quirkiness of it all.
Just been done up nice place for drinks
Really on the fence whether to give 3 or 4 stars here. The ambiance of Sun & Woolpack is very nice. There is a pool table out back and a screen inside where you can pick the music! I like the choice of sitting inside, streetside, or the more private backyard area. The food was great (we had 2 burgers with fries). However, the wait for the food was extreme, nearly an hour waiting. The place was not busy at all, so no idea why we had to wait so long. My other complaint is that the backyard outdoor seating was very dirty, the seats and tables were covered in leaves, dirt, cigarette ash etc. We went on a Sunday so maybe this was just a bad day. I would like to go back on a weekday or maybe a Saturday and see if the speed of service and cleanliness is improved.
