   We didn't eat and it was very busy inside as it was the last Friday before Christmas. Instead we had a booth in the garden which suited us fine, was heated and allowed us to converse easily. We would come back to the Elm Tree again.

   Have passed this pub many times but have never been in. Went for lunch on Friday and was pleasantly surprised. Staff very polite and helpful. Food was very good , my husband had the prawn linguine which he said was excellent. My friend had the fish and chips and I had the sea bass with risotto. Will visit again.

   The beer garden is excellent especially if you can get a booth, you can have a drink, watch the sport on your own TV and keep warm with the outdoor heater if needed. Really nice well done Elm Tree

   Good service, friendly staff, and the food has definitely improved. Child friendly with requests for children to vacate by 7pm which I think is quite acceptable.

   Great variety of inside and outside seating, especially the garden open booths with overhead cover. TVs for sports at the end of outside space. Some nights live music. Food is good although menu is basic: Veggie Lasagne, fish and chips, liver and onions... Sea bass... Most staff friendly and helpful. Been on several occasions, would recommend.
