Recently refurbished and kept the ambiance of decayed empire, 1950tys train travel. Staff are less polished than before. Impatient harassed rather than relaxed. A lot of extra seating which is good, but the "piped Christmas" music was so loud as to be intrusive, I had to speak loudly to be heard across a small table. No menus for bar food or cocktails at the bar. They are at the table and you must have a table number to order snacks. So the reception direct you to the bar, the bar direct you to the tables , that's 10 - 15 minutes wasted, and for a station bar, that's really not good! Cocktails are 14-15 pounds each. Bar snacks are still v good and 7-10 pounds Before 11:45 you can get coffee and pastry for 5. This is in middle of kings cross so thats fairly cheap! They don't link up with stalls in market outside which could be an easy win-win. Will have to visit again earlier in the day, but at 4pm on a Tuesday it was fairly busy but not moreso than it has been but certainly not the relaxed haven it had been.

We stopped in for breakfast and unfortunately left disappointed. The experience began well enough. We were greeted at the entrance and taken to our seats. There is an option to order via the table system, but we were served by a waitress promptly, which was appreciated. The prices here are definitely on the higher end. My Full English was £18. Fair enough, prices are prices, but for what we paid, the flexibility and service did not match. When ordering, I asked if the black pudding, which I am not a fan of, could be swapped for a hash brown. A small request at a premium price. The answer was a firm no. No substitutions allowed. I then asked if the black pudding could simply be removed. The price would stay exactly the same. So, in the end, I paid for something I did not receive and something that could have easily been replaced. It left a poor taste and not from the food. My partner settled for Eggs Benedict after being told the breakfast burrito had run out. This was at 10:15am on a Friday morning and it did not inspire confidence. Food arrived about 25 minutes after ordering. Mine was fine. It did not blow my socks off considering the price and the portion was smaller than expected. My partner’s meal, however, was cold. When raised, we were told that Eggs Benedict is meant to be that way. We were offered a replacement, which was appreciated, but if that is how it comes then there was no point. In the end, my partner left hungry, leaving behind what looked like a plate of raw eggs. Overall, the experience felt like policy over people. The server was not rude and was clearly just following the rules, but the attitude was strict and inflexible. No customer care, no attempt to help, and no sense of value in relation to the price. We only came here because Greggs had a long queue. Looking back, we should have queued. Lesson learned. Off to Greggs.

Best part about this pub is that it’s located in King’s Cross station. As an anxious person who likes to arrive far too early for every train, I appreciate having a comfy place to wait, charge my devices, and have a quick pint. The drinks are overpriced, as expected, but the staff are friendly and it’s nice to be surrounded by fellow travellers. It’s become a staple to visit every time I come through KGX.

Not the cheapest place to eat and drink, but a fantastic peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of Kings cross. The decor is beautiful and the seating super comfy. The Best of British sharing platter was very generous - we added a portion of fries and it was perfect for the two of us. Both cask and keg beers were good too

The parcel Yard is the perfect place to have a pint and bite to eat upon arriving at King's Cross, before leaving from King's Cross, or after visiting the Harry Potter shop at Platform 9 3/4. Just head up the stairs at the back of the station, you'll be greeted by big comfortable sofas and plenty of seating. It's a large pub, so don't worry too much about crowds. It's a Fuller's Pub, and the range of offerings reflect that.

Really nice bar and pub in inside Kings Cross station - perfect for a few drinks before your train journey or ideal for drinks with friends after work. They have a superb selection of drinks and bar snacks in addition a restaurant, saloon-style bar and lots of varied seating areas with comfortable sofas. The bar and waiting staff were so efficient and helpful and there was hardly any wait at the bar when ordering drinks Really enjoyed this venue - highly recommended.

Amazing place for after work or team event. This place with some long history behind, what can be clearly visible by artefacts all around. What about food and drinks - they are definitely worth of your attention. Served very tidily. Good is really delicious. Check on my photos ;)

Arrived and found a seat right away. The server came fairly quick and took our drink and meal order. I was impressed that they asked about allergies right away. We had none so it didnt apply to us. We order the king prawn and squid appies and an order of nachos. With a pint of ale and gin for drinks. The food arrived quickly. The nachos were quite cool but i thought maybe the salsa, sour cream and guac toppings had cooled it off. The chili add on was nice. All the dishes tasted good with the exception of the excessive salt on the prawns and squid. I scraped it off. We finished our meal and they came and asked if we were finished and took our plates but then we waited for an additional 15-20 minutes to just get our bill...both servers had looked at us and saw our coats were on and drinks empty but nobody came with the bill until my bf started getting annoyed and probably looked as such. At that point the one who did not clear our tables asked if something was wrong and we said we need a bill. We then got sorted but it felt like they get you in and served but once your done it was like we were forgotten about. My suggestion is if you clear the plates and ask if we need anything else and we say no to be prompt on the bill so we can leave and make room for the next customers. The experience was mediocre at best but they were very busy as well.
