   I'm a new customer. Spoke to Kevin (underwriter) this morning about an apparent problem with proving my residential address, as my policy would be otherwise cancelled if I didn't provide documentation apparently. Been emailing someone through the website but had no reply about how I prove my address, hence the call. Kevin was incredibly dismissive, said everything is done online pretty much or via email... Had an arrogant can't be arsed approach to speaking to me. I joined GJW after being with another provider for 4 years, what a mistake, they were apparently the best!? Cancelling this policy now. Disgusting customer service on Kevin's part.

   I was very pleased with my phone call for renewal of my insurance. Following trying to use the web/ internet facility which did not work as it drove me around and around.so in desperation I called, only to get 15 minutes of repeated information directing me to the web site.! Finally I held the line and was put through to a real person who was able to take my payment card and complete my original transaction to renew my cover. Your operative went above and beyond and sent me a copy of the transaction and a link to my policy by e-mail for my record. Very satisfied with your operative and your long stop facility when your web site has a moment!!!##. CDR.

   Excellent, swift and efficient service. From the moment I put my claim in over a ruined pramgood cover on my boat, caused by the severed storms Alix was fantastic, he handled everything from start to finish and we couldn’t be more impressed!    GJW have been the insurers for my motor cruiser over the past ten years. The cost for cover has generally been consistent. I have recently made a claim for damage to one of my outdrives and the matter has been dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this company to any small boat skipper.

   Year 5 of insuring my boat, maybe not the very cheapest, but one claim made, and it was seamless, efficient, and quickly settled, with no loss adjuster arguments! I'm sticking with them because of that, I insure for service not cost!

   For all of you that are posting great reviews for GJW because they've saved you hundreds of pounds on your insurance - think again! They're quick to take your money but not so quick to pay out if your boat is damaged! AWFUL COMPANY - AVOID!!!!!!

   My policy had not auto renewed as it had the previous 3 years (down to me) so I sorted this out first thing the next day effectively my boat had gone 9 hours with out cover or do I thought. Later that day my boat was damaged whilst in storage by a motor vehicle, the driver accepted full liability. GJW have deemed me to be uninsured and will not assist with my claim. Although they may be well within there rights to do this some form of explanation would have been appreciated. I’ve cancelled my policy and will be pursuing the claim my self.
