Omg this a cheeky little gem of a lab! Very friendly staff quaint and quite with nice locals! Nice beer prices unlike some pubs in blackheath the have high prices and low standards i.e the crown and the railway omg.

No food served proper old fashioned boozer. A mix of Irish/English. (Primarily Irish)Everyone friendly and up for a laugh. Bar staff great too.

Didn't have food so don't even know if they serve it. Met an old friend for an hour and had a couple of pints of Guinness which were fabulous. Friendly atmosphere good service.

Walked past this place loads of timed and finally went in for a Guinness. The best one I've ever had. Racing TV and Sky Sports Racing on each smaller tv and the bigger tv at the end had the footy on. Friendly barmaid chatting with the regulars. Proper proper local pub, superb Guinness and racing/footy on tv deserves a 6 star review really. Will be back.

Old style London pub called in for a couple of beers early evening. Wasn't busy, just a few locals sat at the bar having a chat. Friendly staff large screen TV ideal for sports events.

A great pub to go for live Irish music and super cold Guinness, the atmosphere is amazing we wet it allowed to leave without shaking hands with all the regulars a absolute pleasure to go there

Best pub in Lewisham by far, great atmosphere amongst the locals when you sit at the bar. Perfect if you like sport as well, especially football, horse racing and gaa sports. Good range of lagers all under 4 quid as well which is rare in London nowadays. Live Music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well, you never fail to have a good time. Well done to Declan the governor and his family for keeping the pub going!

I use this pub occasionally, and I find the staff fantastic and so attentive. The bar is always clean, the empties are picked up immediately. You never have to wait to be served as the staff are on the ball and looking to serve. The owner is a good guy, he and his partner work hard as he does the cooking too. They always speak and make time for everyone that comes in. They regularly have a bit of Irish or country music which I love. I would recommend this place.
