I was visiting London and every other spot was sold out for Sunday roast. Me and a group of friends came here and they happily served us at the end of the day. Food was class. Service was great. They were playing classic Motown music the entire time. Made me feel right at home.
Lovely, cozy pub with great food. Went on a Sunday and had the fish and chips. Great meal and was also able to watch the F1 Race. Table is a bit sticky, but it's a pub at the end of the day.
This is a prized local so this might come across as biased, but it’s a great pub. The atmosphere is friendly, like a community and the food and drinks are decent! The staff are always, always, always lovely and accommodating. There was also a huge group for a party and they consisted of dogs, prams and children. So appreciate the staff’s flexibility and patience! Shout out to Douglas and Alex, who when we came in earlier, were juggling a lot of customers! Thank you
Friendly back-street pub serving a range of ales. We used their function room for a wake, and everyone attending was impressed by the quality of the food. Well worth dropping by if you find yourself in the area!
Have long liked this establishment as an infrequent visitor. Always has a nice vibe, smart but not overly formal, good range of drinks, offers each day and good food. Most recently hosted us for a wake. Staff were excellent - communicative, mindful of our needs and adapted quickly to a larger crowd than expected. Also thought offered very good value.
I went there for drinks after a long walk. We started with nice cocktails and then the food menu got us hooked. It was delicious and a great experience. If you are in the neighborhood, go and try it. If you're not around, well make your way there!
